Brig. Firebrace wrote in Spica in October 1967 that he was becoming disenchanted with the Sidereal ingresses as a way of predicting mundane events, and gave, as an example, "For instance, the Lunar Ingresses for the time of the Egyptian-Israeli war showed nothing." By these words he meant what came to be called "The Six-Day War." Let's check it out.
The "six days" were June 5-10, 1967. The primary combatants were Egypt and Israel. Israel won, capturing the Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, West Bank, and Golan Heights - all of the areas at the heart of all major disagreements since then.
Data above is for the time of the first overt attack action, Israel's air attack on Egyptian air fields just as Mars crossed IC in Tel Aviv. Charts are studied first for Tel Aviv and then from Cairo.
CAPSOLAR (Year). Technically, the chart is dormant, but only a little: It's main indication is Mars 3°13' from Midheaven in Tel Aviv. (It was only 2°37' away in Jersualem. It's always confusing which capital to use for Israel.)
CAPLUNAR (Month). I think I see what RCF didn't like about the lunar ingresses: Jupiter is 2°53' from MC, opposed by Moon on IC. I agree it isn't a classic war map. However, it IS a map of national pride, fired up patriotism, etc. I wouldn't score against it - probably would give it +1 - but also wouldn't use it as a showpiece. - What RCF was in no place to know in 1967 is that there were other aspects to affect the map, three Prime Vertical Parans (PVPs) or, in this case more simply, azimuth aspects across the prime vertical: Sun conjoined Mercury mundanely on the Vertex opposite Pluto on the Antivertex.
The Arilunar is dormant, so the Caplunar is the only lunar ingress that directly applies.
DAILY INDICATORS. The CapQ is dormant. (Transiting Pluto opposite progressed Moon was exactly 1°00' wide. Worldwide, this put it in the zone of a major "line in the sand" event, though not unique to Israel.) The only transit to the Capsolar was Sun to Capsolar Moon - again, a worldwide aspect, and mostly just shaking things up a bit, stirring the chart into activity.
Ah, but transits to the Cansolar were noteworthy. The main one was transiting Uranus conjunct Cansolar Ascendant 0°52' for Tel Aviv.
So far, I'd agree with him these are not fantastic charts, but would not agree that they show nothing relevant. I do agree with his followup opinion that the charts for Israel and Egypt should be checked for direct indications.

Re: The SIx-Day War
Let's repeat for Cairo: Egypt was the country initially attacked.
CANSOLAR (Year). The Capsolar is utterly dormant. However, the Cansolar already showed a year of surprises with Uranus 1°17' above Asc (and Uranus is the primary planet showing the start and end of wars, surprise attacks, and more). Even closer, Pluto squares MC 0°49'. So far as it goes, it's quite correct.
CAPLUNAR (Month). It isn't an interesting chart. Moon is 0°37' from IC with Venus, Mars, and Jupiter all technically foreground but mostly too far away to matter. As in Israel, what RCF couldn't recognize at the time are the azimuth aspects exactly on the prime vertical, again Pluto opposite Sun-Mercury (and one might count Sun-Neptune as well).
The Arilunar is dormant, so, again, everything sits on the Caplunar which, with the science that existed in 1967, is boring as can be, but looks very different with highlighted Sun-Mercury-Pluto aspects.
DAILY TIMING. High impact hits: Transiting Pluto, 1°00' from opposite CapQ Moon, is exactly square CapQ Asc for Cairo. More importantly an exact, precise hit was transiting Mars conjunct Capsolar Midheaven for Cairo (0°50') as transiting Sun squares Capsolar Moon worldwide.
While Uranus conjoined Cansolar Asc for Tel Aviv, in Cairo transiting Pluto was 0°02' from conjunct Cansolar Asc.
These were quite good.
