The Lunar Kinetic (LK)

I was under the impression the Lunar Kinetic (LK) was a chart only using the secondary progressed Natal Moon. But, reading Cyril Fagan's article on his “Introduction” to the LK in Spica ( Vol 1, # 2, Page 3), Fagan seems to suggest the LK Chart is the chart involving only the secondary progressed SSR Moon at the exact time t. Moon exactly conjuncts sp SSR Moon. :?:

The terminology changed over the years. There is inconsistency on this between "Solunars," Spica, the Primer, etc. There may have even been some consistency between "the lunar kinetic" and "the kinetic lunar" - hard to tell as experimentation unfurled.

The term Kinetic Lunar Return ended up meaning transiting Moon's conjunction with Secondary Progressed Moon of the natal.

I suggest the one you were reading about be called the Kinetic Anlunar, since the Anlunar is Moon's transit of SSR Moon.

PS - I think Fagan was not as impressed with Moon's return to natal progressed Moon is that he favored the Q1 rate most of his life (though Bradley wrote me that Fagan's chart files showing him privately shifting more to the Q2 in his last years - from notes Fagan left in his chart files - though this never made it to his public writings). With the SSR Moon, the Q1 and Q2 only diverged by a negligible amount in the one-year lifespan of the SSR, but with the natal progressions the difference becomes large very quickly. All of the outstanding examples of the Kinetic Lunar Return we have seen here have been based on Q2, not Q1. - Another interesting thing to note is that Fagan never based (what I'm calling) the Kinetic Anlunar on the PSSR Moon, just on the SQ Moon; however, if the PSSR is effective (which remains a floating question to me) then both would be comparably important.

(My next PSSR test is Tuesday. Transiting Mars conjoined my SQ Moon yesterday: We'd eaten something two nights before that had more carbs than we should have allowed, and it had a predictable inflammatory effect on me for a couple of days, so the transit to SQ Moon was fitting but minor. It remains to be seen whether the transit to PSSR Moon Tuesday will be comparably fitting.)

Very informative and interesting Jim, thanks--I now understand things much better with Fagan's Spica article. The "Kinetic Anlunar" it is for the SSR. :)

Check out Trump's Oct 29 Kinetic Anlunar (KA) for Trump Tower (I think his main campaign headquarters), definitely a losing KA reaction with SSR Saturn partile cnj KA IC. Then check out his Oct 29 KA for Palm Beach Fl (Residence), which has SSR Jupiter & Pluto partile cnj KA IC for a winning reaction. Of course Trump may still be on campaign trail and be in neither location. Using Bradley's “immediate effect” for Lunar Returns these two locations offer interesting contrasting signal reactions with partile SSR Jupiter cnj KA IC for Palm Beach and SSR Saturn partile KA IC for NY. I think I have calculated these two locations correctly for the KA.

I have a calendar marked to check news services for his location on Thursday Oct 29 before Nov 3 election.

I think he'll be in Washington or Mar-a-Lago - He seems intent on not going back to NY while there are Federal prosecutors looking for him. Where the chart originally occurs is important but not as important as for solars - the lunar returns seem to adapt to a new locale quickly.

The KAR sets up October 29, 2020, at 6:36 AM EDT. It has a mix of things for Washington - nothing all that close (but Mercury square MC closest). Jupiter and Saturn about equally split on the IC.

If in NY (where I doubt he will be), Saturn is 07' from square Asc. If in Palm Beach, where I suspect he will be, Saturn is less than 1° from IC.

Nice.

Fagan tells us to bi-wheel Kinetic Anlunar with the SSR in his Spica article. Don't we look for the planets with the SSR on the angles of the Kinetic Anlunar to tell us the reaction of the native to return chart planets? If so, and if in Palm Beach, he reacts to election results in a Jupiter-Pluto manner. But, probably he will still be campaigning outside of Florida or in DC. Like I said I have no experience with Kinetics. Fagan's article in Spica on the Kinetic SSR caught my attention.

Three rings: KAR, SSR, natal, in successive layers in personal reaction.

Ok-got it, thanks.
