Solar Fire 8 comes with a standard chart library of 119 timed births labelled Art & Design. What's are the luminary sign breakdowns for these?
SUN
Tau: 13
Gem: 12
Can: 10
Leo: 5
Vir: 10
Lib: 16
Sco: 6
Sag: 9
Cap: 10
Aqu: 6
Pis: 12
Ari: 10
Even though these charts were selected for inclusion by Tropical astrologers (who, one would expect, would be biased toward results supporting the Tropical zodiac if biased at all, the four highest ranking signs are Libra (ruled by Venus), Taurus (ruled by Venus), and a tie for third place between Pisces (Venus exalted) and Gemini.
None of these numbers are too far outside random distribution, but Libra does pierce the 20-to-1 level of significance. - I also find it interesting that, except for Venus-ruled Taurus, the Hubs are uniformly the lowest ranking signs - nearly the only Sun-signs that fall below average.
MOON
Tau: 10
Gem: 12
Can: 9
Leo: 12
Vir: 7
Lib: 9
Sco: 13
Sag: 10
Cap: 9
Aqu: 13
Pis: 8
Ari: 7
While the highest scores are Gemini Scorpio and Aquarius, neither of these is statistically significant. In fact, none of these scores varies far enough from the expected average of 10 to be significant. What I find most interesting, though, is that the two lowest scores are Virgo (the fall of Venus) and Aries (Venus' detriment). - I suspect the Moon signs primarily show stylistic nuances and, especially, lifestyle descriptors - hence the high Scorpio and Aquarius. (Notice that the three lowest Sun-signs are the three highest Moon-signs.)

Jim (first off are we allowed to comment here?), Second as a Leo Moon i can confirm the highly artistic nature in myself (Capricorn likes music and and fighting but thats not the art we are talking about here).
Ive always seen this sense of Soul(sol) in Leo Moons and in theroy we are taking the muse (our innersouls/conscious) and illuminating it with radiance, confidence, and a sense of self. At its purest I see art as a form of self expression, a problem not normal arising in the Leo-Aquarius (and Scorpio, because of Uranus). Specifically they don't have a problem expressing themselves publicly (where as a Pluto person may be a bit more withdrawn).
Why not the Sun then? thats simple there is not a specific depth to the suns own muse (our own inner music if you will only plays with the Moon). The Sun is more superficial, it doesn't move us deeply but on the surface, let alone deeply move other people. (We also see the Moon in signs like Sagittarius were the muse is making the sound of sharp blades and arrows come out, kind of like a sick twisted art {expression}).
I stand firm in this as clearly i attract Scorpio (which we have discussed) as well as other hub folk (due partly to my own hub moon). The hub moon itself is like an unmovable instrument, a didgierido, an unyeilding muse..
('Cause the players tried to take the field
the marching band refused to yield
Do you recall what was revealed
The day the music died? )
A Leo Moon {in Tropical and Sidereal!} sang this (which is a peice of art).{The gemini is the music force sure but the radiant muse made this reach out to people}. One of those people was {this Leo moon}, I could sing the full chours of the Song at age 3/4 .

I definately attract Hubs too. I don't have a Hub Moon but maybe Sun conjunct Galactic Centre gives a Hub-like effect.

I think mine is linked to my Venus and Novien.. I would say that having a sun in the galactic centre would make one hub like (ego), this is the difference Jim summed up why some sagittarius could be seen as scorpio like and it was due to a well discriminated amount of people who like you have this placement a huge galactic force will make this spoke sign all of a sudden become less bipolar and diverse and more focused and ridged which for ambitious sagittarius the arrow becomes steadfast and cutting. To be honest sometimes I find these folk difficult to handle in person like a relentless stang they never stand down- further more I think there needs to be a distinct section on this in the sun sign section (Sun-GC=xyz).
As for this I believe the distinction make a philosopher (mentally malleable- spoke) sagittarius into a mercantile, unyielding, sharp, conservative, and to be honest bloodlust, weapon love and cutting are not out of the question either. This could be a very cool art subject topic.
