Lunar Ingresses Election Day thru 1st 100 days
Posted: Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:40 pm
In the aftermath of the 2016 election, I discovered that my weak-by-week mundane forecasts described the outcome (and the path to the outcome) almost perfectly (though I personally thought they had the opposite meaning). They were far more descriptive (and would have been far more helpful) than any amount of looking at the candidates' charts.
So, I have decided to examine all weekly lunar ingresses for Washington, DC from the one covering November 3, 2020 through the end of the first hundred days of the new term, April 30, 2021. I will generally interpret these without drawing conclusions about an outcome - simply describing the tone each week.
CAPLUNAR Oct 22
Great victory & cause for celebration coexisting with great loss and sadness - existing with conflict and harm. Competitiveness runs high.

Arilunar Oct 30
It's all about the president - about national leadership - with surprises and the very least. Probably a change in leadership occurs. This exists among accelerated loss, separation, severing, and sadness.

Moon-Saturn sq. 1°07'
Moon-Pluto sq. 2°32'
Moon-Mercury op. 2°37'
Canlunar Nov 6
It's all about the president - about national leadership - and seems to be a hard blow against his dignity, stature, or well-being. However, this may also manifest as government gridlock or other lockdown with suppressive, restricting, controlling, or failed government. Mercury-Saturn suggests delayed information, breakdown of communication, and paperwork snafus.

CAPLUNAR Dec 16
It continues to be all about the President. It looks as if there is a documented conclusion. The Electoral College votes two days earlier, so either this is when a very slow result is disclosed or (more likely) there is an executive speech of great importance with a decisive impact. (This may unfold over a month, not just a week.)

Liblunar Jan 6
This chart, occurring two three days after Congress convenes for its new term and lasting an entire month, appears to suggest a Democratic victory - and that the pandemic or its consequences are still raging across the land. (January 6 is the day Congress counts the vote.) There is no shortage of sad news and persisting loss, but the angular planets suggest a first breath of fresh air in a long time. It seems to show people who are still deeply hurt nonetheless being upbeat and hopeful. Politics are off and running for a year year.

While "fiery conditions" is a more common Sun-Mars interpretation, the exact aspects in this chart are more consistent with bold, aggressive action (with pushback), heated debate, the usual special interests, and an overall state of progress. I can't tell if the loud progressive voice is from the White House or from protests against it.

Rearranging relationships: Mostly positive, but showing liberal-conservative, change-stability struggles (likely partisan divide with resulting delays); but there is active engagement, division but no animosity, positive relationship far stronger than the also-present distance and loss of connection. Foremost, though, are the signals of changing relationships.

Similar to the one before. Less overtly threatening but an emotional flurry. The best result I see is that so much is getting done that Washington exists in a whirlwind, but these two weeks suggest, instead, that it is being swamped by something else.
