The Demi Lunar of Dec 24 has t.Mars square t.Pluto 0°14'.
Angularities are:
t Pluto sq MC 0°59'
t Mars conj. IC 1°57' in mundo
additional: t Neptune conj. r.DSC 0°41'
Both r.Uranus and r.Pluto are squaring ASC resp. 1°22' and 1°52'. This makes their midpoint 0°30' square ASC.
You elsewhere clarified that you wanted more insight into the transiting Mars-Pluto square on angles and the natal Uranus-Pluto conjunction on angles, since you couldn't find much.
A typical interpretation of
transiting Mars-Pluto in a lunar return is given here:
https://solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=53 ... 1430#p1444
It reads:
One is forced to stand accountable for one's actions (with swift, unapologetic consequences); otherwise, to take unusual initiative amidst urgent events (air of crisis or emergency). Suspenseful, tense. Unprecedented force (possible aggression, belligerence, or attack). Consequences of cumulative stresses. (STATS: Slightly frequent for weddings.)
My best interpretation of the
natal Uranus-Pluto aspect is given here:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=177#p1173
Though there is a little more on the page (a little fine detail), my summary is:
Feels unbound by precedent, custom, convention, or authority: willing to ignore, challenge, or forcibly reject them. Open to new ways, wider horizons; yet rarely disruptive without immediate cause. Physically restless, impatient (possibly frustrated, angry). Authenticity & creative self-expression arise best from solitude (vacuum)...
Is the t Mars-t Pluto also accident prone like you were saying above for the SSR?
It seems quite a shake with natal Uranus/Pluto?
Or it may be an explosively energetic, hardworking and industrious time with possible burn out?
I was taking specifically the
Mars-Uranus elements in the SSR as tipping toward an accident, although that's hardly unheard of with Mars-Pluto also.
First, we need to put this in perspective: It's a Demi-SLR, a chart for two weeks. Its period of effect is also more than half over, so if your friend is still healthy and sound, then he's probably OK in this regard.
While a physical accident is possible, I might expect a "social accident" more than anything else from this chart. The orbs of aspects and angles are quite close, so this would probably be one of the more important two-week charts of the year. Let's break is down a bit: Transiting Mars and Pluto in aspect on the angles suggests (as you say) explosive energy, or great, eruptive force. The universe is quite aggressive toward him (transiting Mars) and demands extreme "no BS" authenticity and response to conditions. This gives the "put up or shut up" quality often attributed to transiting Mars-Pluto. Think of it, perhaps, as Pluto saying "don't look away! don't let up!" to the Mars conditions which sometimes feel brutal. (They may not
be brutal, but the intensity makes them seem it.) Accidents are possible; it could be explosively sexual as you suggested before; it could be a great deal of work and dealing with tough circumstances. It can feel stressful, demanding, "no let up," as suggested in the interpretation above. People are sometimes hospitalized under Mars-Pluto but it is usually for consequences of extreme physical or psychological stress. Depending on his occupation, during this pandemic period his current work conditions could be adding extreme stress; or some social (interpersonal) circumstance could do this. It probably feels more or less like the world won't give him a moment's peace.
And his response? (Or possibly the circumstances bringing this impact from conditions around him?) This is shown by his natal Uranus-Pluto aspect coming to the fore. All this really does is make his natal aspect more powerfully expressed, so we can use the
natal Uranus-Pluto interpretation (but tip our language a bit more toward events). Natal Uranus and natal Pluto foreground means that one's, respectively, needs for freedom and renewal and needs for authenticity are foremost. I get the feeling that he is under enormous pressure and wants to break out. (I keep getting a picture of a doctor working inconceivably stressful hours in a pandemic-filled hospital for weeks or months on end. That's probably not the literal detail here, but it's the feel I get of his conditions for a week or two.)
This is why I spoke of a "social accident." Literal physical accidents are rare in life, but there is indeed a sense that he "breaks" something - or at least
needs to break something, to break out, disrupt circumstances, tell somebody off, ignore and forcibly reject what's expected of him, tell the world back that he's done with some kind of BS and just needs to get the hell out of his conditions and do something that feels more true to himself.
Since, as you point out, transiting Neptune is slowly crossing one of his natal angles, and both his SSR and Demi-SLR have Moon strong, he's probably feeling these things even more intently than if a similar chart occurred at some other time.
Approximately today, and for the next couple of days, transiting Mars is opposite natal Moon. All these Mars pressures (whether frustration, sexual pressures, or whatever) are likely coming to a head. If something is going to trigger him to lose his cool and erupt a bit during this fortnight, it will probably be in the next couple of days.
He's approaching a progressed Moon-Sun conjunction in a couple of months, a mark often of a new, important relationship but especially of a new cycle in life, almost like a Pluto transit on its own. Between now and then, though, he'll have a progressed Moon-Saturn opposition so there will be pressures and loss (separation) - "costs" to him - on the road to starting that new cycle.
