Jim, check my thinking on this:

When I see a West Point of a Solarfire Chart at 16,07 Cap with a RA OF 313.36; and then see a t Jupiter at 16,43 Cap with a RA of 314.24----then this tells me t Jupiter is partile conjunct the West Point. Correct?
Thanks.

So... it's a little complicated.

You are absolutely correct that the transit to Westpoint (like all other contacts of EP and WP) should be taken in Right Ascension.

However, this is subject to distortion by precession. I'm guessing that you are checking a mundane chart - perhaps the upcoming game - so the transit is within one year of the original chart (e.g., a transit to Capsolar WP or some such thing). If that's the case, don't worry about precession - it will be less than 0°01' - just take the transit in RA and you're good.

However, if there are many years in between - say, Mars' transit to your natal WP March 13 of this year - then I'd have to walk you through other steps.

In Sidereal Mundane Astrology, we're never dealing with a chart more than a year old so, yes, just take the transit in RA.

Thanks Jim. The chart in question was Green Bay Wisconsin Feb 7 2021 9:00 PM (Scheduled Day of Super Bowl) CapQ with transits.
