Welcome to the
Angular Venus discussion project, which will run February 1-14, 2021 (and then will remain around in case people want to revisit it in the future). Please gather your list of Venus Angular people (especially those you know personally) and join us.
CRITERA: Let's stick to planets within 7° of major angles (Asc-Dsc, MC-IC) and 2° of minor angles (Zenith-Nadir, EP-WP). Ideally (
i.e., if you can), please assess proximity to horizon and meridian in prime vertical longitude, squares to MC and Asc in longitude, and RA contact to EP and WP in right ascension.
Here is the primary Angular Venus interpretive resource on the forum:

We may also want to compare to
Sun in Taurus, Libra, and Pisces for ideas to check against our Angular Venus examples:

My current concise summary of Angular Venus (always subject to change) reads:
Charming, attractive, popular. Friendly, amiable, gracious. Kind, considerate, benevolent. Flirtatious, affectionate (sexually more receptive than aggressive). Loving, caretaking, mothering. Drawn to beauty, pleasure, peace, tranquility (not pain, violence, turbulence); averse to cruelty and harm. Needs to experience pleasure and beauty; requires harmony and ease (reduced stress and friction). Stubborn & fierce toward injustice (personal or social).

Angular Venuses are not common on this site. People active on this forum with Venus angular include:
Some famous people with Venus angular (a quite different list than the Mercury folks!):
- Crown Prince Albert Victor, Crown Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles
- Pres. James K. Polk, Pres. Franklin Pierce, Pres. Bill Clinton, Pres. Joseph Biden, Sec. Hillary Clinton, Dir. J. Edgar Hoover, Sen. Mitt Romney
- Brig. RC Firebrace, Peggy Lance
- Charles Whitman, Jim Jones, Ted Bundy
- Kenneth Anger, L. Ron Hubbard, Ringo Starr
- Heidi Fleiss, Leona Helmsley, Patty Hearst
(As a casual observation: Between the royalty and the heiresses, I find it interesting how many seem to have been born to a life of comfort, and how many of the others reached that state.)
Besides the famous people listed above, I have a list of 22 people I knew/know sufficiently well with Venus angular by the above criteria. I'll be rechecking against these 22. (Some of those I personally know overlap with the famous above: Kenneth Anger and astrologers RC Firebrace and Peggy Lance.) Most are private acquaintances, including my sister-in-law and her husband.
I find an unusual number of practicing astrologers with Venus angular, despite the fact that Solunars.com has so few. 8 of the 22 on my "personal" list are/were practicing astrologers and a couple more were students in my astrology classes in the '70s. That's about 1/3. This is dramatically different from my Mercury list where (unless you count astrological research scientist Michel Gauquelin) there were
no astrologers.

Where I am currently living I have (zodiacally):
Venus 24Can04:53
Pluto 24Can23:32
Asc 24Can42:57
The angular Venus is hard to pick out from the Venus conj Pluto and angular Pluto.

Me, too. In my case, Venus is 1°09' from local IC and 0°13' from square Pluto.
Mundanely, you have Venus 0°56' from Asc - not much different than ecliptically.

Bingo for my Nephew mundo Venus rising 2,34. Very sociable, if not in a sociable crowd is bored! Makes his living as a salesman making contacts in social scenes. Well-liked by new people he meets with lots of close social friends.

Same for my Nephew, with refined beautiful facial features (Handsome).

Same for my Nephew, buys the best of the best of things within his living standards. Loves fashionable clothing.

As a general rule I like these people, and I can speak on some of the things being Venus to some extent (my sun having something to do with Venus either in the novien or taken with Uranus nataly, and more skeptically it's supposedly the ruler of my lunar Mansion).
I think something to be said too is a lot of men with this I see are often accused of being homosexual (at least to some extent). Largely due to western societies rigid gender norms (and these folks just generally look pretty), and a lot of times it's not wrong (though this may be complete coincidence.

Of your four angular planets, three of them are closer to an angle than Venus. It's still obviously strong (even for an Aries or anti-Venus chart), but it's at best the fourth strongest thing in your chart (and on the 'cusp' of being a Class 2 angularity).
I meant to suggest that my guidelines of using Class I and Class II angularities should probably tightened for someone who has a LOT of closely angular planets; but I didn't (and I went ahead and listed you in this category to boot!), so that's not a complaint.
But it's a reminder that lots of strong factors can mask a simple message. No use focusing on Marion's Class 3 Uranus-Nadir, Venus-Asc, and Neptune-Dsc angularities, for example, when there is that Class 1 Mercury-Asc (stationary) and Class 2 Sun-Asc, Mars-Nadir, and Eris-Asc.

I've been distracted wrapping up Moon in Virgo and launching the Eris discussion... so I've lagged on this particular thread. Anyone else want to dive in with angular Venus observations?

With Mars angular, I have tentatively observed that there may be a distinction between (what we might call) the active and passive poles of each angular axis in natal astrology, where the planet's needs are equally strong across all angles but the active end (Asc, MC, EP, maybe Z) has a more active identification and forthright, "in your face" expression, while the passive end (Dsc, IC, WP, maybe N) has less identification (maybe active disidentification), containment (with the IC: covert, hidden) as a layer. Can I see anything similar with Venus angular?
Venus rising personal examples are all people with Venus expression but not always Venus to the core. I think they all have no idea how aggressive they seem. The public examples are most obvious to me for people who want a rich, elegant lifestyle (consider both Clintons, who rose from poverty and middle class to great wealth and comfort, Leona Helmsley, Heidi Fleiss; but also someone modest like Pres. Biden who, nonetheless, seems to enjoy his comforts without demanding them). I think my private examples also have this, one example being a single mom who raised her daughter on a shoestring and eventually married the love of her life who just happened to be enormously rich, and she immediately switched to being "a laidy," as the Cockney might say.
Venus setting does have a different feel, but I may have too few cases don't want to jump to the conclusions that the generalization is there. (I'd rather discover something rather than confirm something.) The specific character I see in my Venus rising group isn't there. There are some great examples of something quite opposite, e.g., Patty Hearst who was born to great wealth and became identified, for a time, with the opposite end of the spectrum. Or a great military figure, R.C. Firebrace, who in fact had a Venus character (kind, enjoying a good time, etc.) and is best known for an ugly war (though much of his actual involvement was diplomatic). The one U.S. president is known for passivity (Pierce). Maybe there is a disidentification with Venus exteriors, not caring much for the surroundings in which they live. (Or maybe I'm over-interpreting.)
Venus on MC, in my list, is primarily people known for great kindness and gentleness. (Pres. Polk is a terrible exception.) Even the one extremely wealthy person on my list doesn't wear it on his sleeve (but does always have beautifully presented cuffs!). On all of these lifestyle issues, I see no real difference between MC and IC, but on the IC I notice that (along with some gentle people to whom it is deeply important that they cause no harm) a sudden appearance of murders: Charles Whitman of Texas tower infamy, Rev. Jim Jones, Ted Bundy - and the cruelty of L. Ron Hubbard. What suddenly happened here... again, it's something like having the real Venus needs and traits, including attractiveness-charisma, but somehow disidentifying, not externalizing, etc.?

I have concluded my revision of my standard
Venus Foreground interpretation. You can find the full details here:
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=38&p=185#p185
My somewhat updated summary now reads:
Charming, attractive, popular, friendly, gracious. Feels and responds powerfully, forthrightly; invested in experiencing, absorbing impressions. Flirtatious, affectionate (sexually more receptive than aggressive). Loving, caretaking, mothering. Kind, considerate, averse to cruelty and harm. Stands against injustice (personal or social). Acts to reduce their stress and friction. Needs beauty, enjoys "the good life." Drawn to pleasure, peace, tranquility (not pain, violence, turbulence).
