This first week of February, 2021 is the deadliest week for avalanches on record, with 14 between Feb 1 and Feb 7. The air is especially dry, making the snow more unstable over the West.

Is this all in Colorado? I hadn't tracked where these are occurring.

Glancing at the maps, the Caplunar has Jupiter-Uranus cutting through the area (consistent with structural collapses and floods - not sure if that counts). For the week in question, the Liblunar has Moon-Pluto cutting through.

Nope. This is for the entire US.
