Capsolar planets are "permanent" for the year

Post by Jim Eshelman »

(A discovery I wrote up 8/21/2016)

Here is a discovery I made this week: Appropriate Capsolar planets are frequently angular at the time of an event. We're used to comparing transiting planets to Capsolar angles, but (for final timing to the minute) it is often true that appropriate Capsolar planets are angular in the event chart. This suggests that, when these move to the angles every day, at every location, they have more or less as much relevance as transiting planets on that day.

At least, this is true for fires.

You may recall that the first few versions of SMA had event chart angularities listed at the end of each event, so that the flow of discussion was from the year, down to the quarter, down to the month, down to the week, down to the day... and then, sometimes, down to the minute. I eventually removed these for two reasons: (1) They weren't really a Sidereal technique, so they didn't need discussion to show the system. (2) They were usually pretty disappointing. Most event charts don't actually have anything hitting the angles at the time of the event.

But... that's much less true when we look at the Capsolar planets. And I don't mean with wide orbs or vague descriptions.

At least, that's true for fires.

Let's look at every well-timed fire in the SMA data set see what current planets (planets in space at the time of the event) and what Capsolar planets were on local angles when the event occurred. - Notice that when the event chart already had an angular Mars or Saturn, the Capsolar Mars wasn't needed.

To summarize more concisely, here are malefics that appeared on the event chart angles (the actual minute of the event), excluding those events that had too vague a statement of event time. - This gives a whole new vitality to event charts, and a whole new dimension to the Capsolar planets.

Of 20 fires, 8 had Mars angular at the minute they started. 4 times it was transiting Mars (i.e., normal event chart Mars), and 4 it was Capsolar Mars.
Of 20 fires, 7 had Saturn angular at the minute they started. 5 times it was transiting Saturn, and 3 it was Capsolar Saturn.

APOLLO 1 None.
BEVERLY HILLS SUPPER CLUB None.
COCOANUT GROVE s. Mars (0°48')
CONWAY THEATER t. Saturn (0°19')
DURUNKAH t. Mars (1°05')
FRIENDSHIP THEATER Possibly s. Pluto ~1° if we take it mundanely.
GREAT CHICAGO FIRE None.
GREAT LONDON FIRE t. Saturn (0°57')
GREAT SPOKANE FIRE t. Saturn (0°12'), s. Saturn (1°22')
HAPPY LAND SOCIAL CLUB t. Mars (1°00')
IROQUOIS THEATER (s. Uranus 46')
KISS NIGHTCLUB t. Mars (0°13')
KOLLAM TEMPLE t. Mars (2°00'), s. Neptune (1°02')
LAME HORSE NIGHTCLUB (s. Uranus Dsc 1°17')
L'Innovation Department Store None.
LUOYANG CHRISTMAS FIRE t. Uranus (0°25'), Saturn (2°32')
OHIO STATE PENITENTIARY t. Saturn (0°53'), t. Uranus (0°12'), s. Mars (0°25')
RHYTHM CLUB s. Saturn (0°19')
TRIANGLE SHIRTWAIST s. Mars (1°03')
WINECOFF HOTEL s. Mars (0°02'), s. Saturn (1°13')

Does the same sort of thing occur for wholly natural disasters, like earthquakes? Let's see... (This time, to make the survey quicker, I'll simply list the malefics and disruptors, not every angular planet.)

The frequency is not as great. Nonetheless, it does seem that the Capsolar planets are as likely to be what's on the event chart angles as the current planets. Here are the quakes from the study set where there was something to show.

AVEZZANO
CURRENT: Neptune (1°43')
CAPSOLAR: Neptune (1°05')

ERZINCAN
CURRENT: -
CAPSOLAR: Uranus (1°48')

FORT TEJON
CURRENT: Mars (25')
CAPSOLAR: -

GREAT ALASKAN
CURRENT: Pluto (1°53')
CAPSOLAR: -

GREAT CHILEAN
CURRENT: Mars (1°21')
CAPSOLAR: -

GREAT KANTO
CURRENT: Mars (23')
CAPSOLAR: -

LONG BEACH
CURRENT: -
CAPSOLAR: Mars (21')

OLYMPIA
CURRENT: Mars (1°47'), Pluto (1°46')
CAPSOLAR: Mars (57')

SUMATRA-ANDAMAN
CURRENT: Saturn (1°54')
CAPSOLAR: -

SYLMAR

TEHACHAPI
