Heat waves kill about 650 people a year, mostly healthy people whose hearts are strong who are out exercising or who work outside. That's more people killed yearly by tornados and hurricanes.

So, Sun and Mars angular in returns, and maybe Neptune for humidity?

I previously posted something like the ten worst hot days on record - going from memory. My memory is that they were (to my surprise) Saturn not Mars. Death, I guess. Have to dig that out and see.
