Midterm Elections 2022

I wanted to take a quick look at how the November 8, 2022 midterm elections might come out. We'd expect the incumbent party to lose seats in Congress, and the 2022 Capsolar calls for a strong "calling to task" of the president, so in general we would expect - even just from common sense! - that Dems lose seats, Reps take both houses of Congress.

When I saw that election day has a Taurus Moon while both Biden and Harris have Aries Moons, I thought it worth checking their SLRs.

Bizarrely, Biden's November 7 SLR has no planet angular - transit or natal. This raises the question of whether he is still with us.

Harris' November 6 SLR has something going: Closely, Pluto is on Descendant. Also, Jupiter is more widely foreground near MC. This shows the kind of high-impact event we would expect the president to feel. - Her recent (2022) SSR is quite hard, a struggle of a year, with transiting Mars rising and natal Saturn at MC.

Biden's transits for election night are limited to one aspect: Pluto opposite natal Jupiter 0°06'.

Harris' transits for election night: Uranus op. r Neptune 0°43' (almost partile square Saturn), t Sun conj. r Neptune 0°55', t Mercury conj. r Neptune 0°38', t Mars conj. r Asc 0°18', t Venus sq. r Mars 1°00'. (But about the hour polls close, Moon conjoins her natal Jupiter exactly.)
