2020 Census data will be released

The data from the 2020 US Census will be released "by" August 16, 2021.

On August 16, states will start redistricting based on this data and will set the districts for the next 10 years.

If a decent federal voting rights act isn't in place by this date, we'll see voting districts that look like worms in some states, so the party in power can remain in power. This is the ultimate expression of representatives choosing their voters rather than voters choosing their representatives.

Here is the forecast for the August 13 Liblunar. I can't say it gives a decisive answer to anything, but it does seem interesting:
