Gulf of Mexico Hurricane Watch August 2021

Potential Tropical Storm 6 (PTS 6, eventually TS Fred) is currently east of Puerto Rico. By Friday morning, August 13th, it should be over Cuba, and by Saturday, August 14th, it should be just off the southern tip of Florida. It should make landfall somewhere along Florida's panhandle late on the 15th or early on the 16h of August.

Cuba:
On Friday, August 13th, the beginning of the Liblunar, PTS6 will be over Cuba, where there will be some converging Moon and Pluto lines.

Florida Panhandle:
According to its currently projected path, it looks like it will not hit the Florida pandhandle along any planetary angles for the Liblunar, which starts August 13th and includes the dates of the projected landfall.

However, the currently active Canlunar (Aug 6th-12th) does have some Moon and Pluto lines on the Florida panhandle. I'm not sure what that's worth.

Summary:
I'd guess that Cuba may take a harder hit than expected and that Florida will get off easy.

Question:
Do the Canlunar lines still carry weight after the Liblunar has begun?

Please feel free to critique.

[pulling in more factors]

The Capsolar also has angular Pluto, Sun, Saturn, and Mars for the Florida panhandle.

The Arisolar has angular Uranus and Saturn for the same area.

Seems to have a bit of a target on the area, but the storm shouldn't be that bad unless it stalls, which it doesn't appear that it's going to do.

Invest 95L is evolving further out in the Atlantic Ocean, looking about 9-10 days from a potential landfall if it ends up entering the Gulf of Mexico (landfall August 21-22). This estimate places landfall closely on either side of the Arilunar.

Caplunar:
The Moon and Pluto are conjuct the DSC over Cuba and the Florida Pandhandle.
Mars is conjuct the IC very near to Houston and southern Mexico.
I'm ignoring angular Mercury as less relevant than these others.

Arilunar
Jupiter is conjunct MC through Cuba and the eastern-most edge of Florida.
Venus and Uranus conjunct MC on the eastern-most edge of Louisiana.
Jupiter square ASC at Houston.
Saturn conjunct MC and Jupiter square DSC line cross at Corpus Christi.

Summary: Looking again at the Capsolar and Arisolar, and now including the Cansolar, the Florida Pandhandle has angular malefics in each of these charts. Add in the Caplunar, and I think that's most likely where this storm is going to land. There are other angular malefics in the Gulf of Mexico in these charts, but none are so concentrated in one region across multiple charts. At least that's the theory I'm working with this time around. If not the Florida Panhandle, then the Houston area also has a few strikes against it based on the Capsolar and Caplunar.

The updated projection of Invest 95L’s speed of development and position changed the timing of potential landfall.

I may not be able to rely on any sort of projected timing until the storm center actually develops.

Also, I realized what I’m experimenting with probably goes in the Experimental forum.

Lance, I posted the data for the 7.2 earthquake in Haiti at 8:29 Eastern this morning under August 2021 events. I don't know what you're experimenting with but if you're looking at ingresses, there should be something there more than a hurricane.

I’m trying to predict where potential hurricanes will make landfall in the Gulf of Mexico using ingresses.

Now that this storm is developing, I still like my previous prediction for this one (Tropical Storm Grace) to veer north into the Florida Panhandle. But this is absolutely the musing of a beginner. I’d love to get good at predicting landfall though.

Yes, in areas where the Liblunar is dormant (no Liblunar angularities within 3°).

Otherwise, no.

Ugh. This think looks like it’s headed straight for me.

North! Veer north, I said!

This morning is the first time I've been able to see anything actually formed out in the water. Here's a snapshot from a few minutes ago.

Yes, this is TS Fred pictured here. It’s going to go north for sure.

The one I’m currently watching is TS Grace further east. It’s projected line is currently west-north-west toward the Texas-Louisiana border. I’d rather it turn north too, but it may head toward Houston.

It’s not expected to do much, perhaps even breaking up, so hopefully it’s all academic.

The concern I've seen about Grace is it seems likely to hit Haiti - compounding already terrible problems this week.

Yes, I hadn't considered that. My apologies. I can be a bit self-interested when watching for storms. I can only hope the best for them. I certainly dread these storms and their destructive power.

I appear to have been way off on my earlier predictions for Grace. I'll be sure to post in the Experimental forum in the future since I'm just trying this out. I thought of that afterward.

Grace is currently a tropical depression but is predicted to become Hurricane Grace before hitting the Mexican coastline Saturday, August 21st. The August 19th Caplunar does have angular Sun, Jupiter, and Uranus lines intersecting inland in the general area of the current meteorological forecast, but the way the lines are inland and run parallel to the coastline complicates an attempt at astrological prediction.

Currently the meteorological forecast looks like the storm will make a pass on the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday, August 19th (the day of the Caplunar) and Jupiter will be angular there.
