Matthew is currently a Category 4 hurricane in the Caribbean Ocean. It's the fifth hurricane in the Atlantic this season, and is the lowest latitude Cat 5 on record.
Two people are known dead from the storm, one in Colombia and one in St. Vincent. I don't have times or dates.
It should hit Haiti late Monday and Tuesday, and will likely be "catastrophic."
A hurricane watch is in effect in the southeast Bahamas.
Hurricane warnings are posted in Jamaica, Haiti, and eastern Cuba.
It's not yet clear if Matthew will touch the US, but coastal flooding and high surf is sure.

I've been watching to see if it's going to hit the U.S., and how severe it is when it gets here. There have been continuous indications through the summer of hurricane destruction in the usual suspect areas and, so far, they have had horrific social issues of a Saturn-Neptune type in the same locations. Perhaps a good hurricane would be kinder.
