May's chart is quite fascinating. He has both luminaries and several planets in Aries, yet his work (and his fundamental orientation) is toward kindness and compassion. This is evidently because his chart is dominated by Venus (conjunct his Sun and Mercury) and Jupiter (the only angular planet). Within this benefic cast, his writings have not only the pragmatic, reality-based Aries characteristics but rest on a very Plutonian existentialism.
