I'm up for a job interview on the 26th of October. The problem is my Dem-SLR strikes on the next day featuring a close square in Mundo of Mars/Saturn on the Mc/Dc respectively. My main SLR for the month features a lose Jupiter/Venus on the Asc/Mc respectively. It's just a bit scary because right now this is kind of my only real option in the area, everyone else wants experience. I'm kind of on the fence about going under this planetary symbolism since it kind of mimics my SSR Saturn on the IC.

Birth Info: 9/4/84, 11:44 pm, Kingsville, Texas. Still in same location.

Go anyway. If nothing else you'll get experience interviewing in this climate. But remember, most places are having trouble finding people willing to work for them. So you have a big edge right there.

And I don't think the demi overrides the lunar. (Jim will say if he disagrees.) I think the lunar holds through the entire month. The demi adds to it, but does not override.

Is the interview also in Kingsville? (I'll assume for now that it is.)

Looking first at transits, there isn't a lot happening that day. The major long-term transit is Uranus opposite your Saturn. (BTW, have you considered moving from your area, since you said geography is part of the limit?) Otherwise, there isn't much happening by transit.

By progression, though, you're not in a good time. Your progressed Moon just moved into a 1° orb of opposing Saturn, which will last until mid-December. (It squares your natal MC.) During the next two months, there will be a sense that things are hard. You'll have to actively work to keep this from dragging down your motivation through disappointment. There may be some quite good things during this time, but they likely will weigh on you, feeling burdensome, perhaps bringing regrets. there is a sense of loss. Just know that this is time-limited and clears a bit before Christmas.

For Kingsville, your Oct 12 SLR is quite positive, with Jupiter rising square (mundanely) Venus near MC) and only a little Saturn. Your Mercury squares MC. This means that the four weeks overall beginning Oct 12 are likely to be positive. Unless the last several days have been unusually beautiful and upbeat, you likely still have this positive trend to unfold through the rest of the month.

However, I admit that your Oct 27 Demi-SLR is pretty harsh. For Kingville, Saturn is 2° from Dsc, Mars 1° from IC, Sun 5° from IC (square Saturn mundanely), Pluto 0°08' from WP (making Mars-Pluto even stronger than Mars-Saturn). This likely will be operative during the whole of Oct 26, and certainly will oversee the after-events beginning the next day. Your Pluto is involved, too.

So... what can you do with all of this?

First of all, the Demi might not be talking about the interview. (It probably is, since it is so close, but it might not be.) You are still under a positive SLR. If the Demi is not about the interview, then you need to have your mind clear to be cautious about other things it may mean, e.g., be more careful to avoid accidents, be more attentive to good communication and caretaking important relationships, etc.

Or, it might be about the interview but not directly about the outcome. The first level of this is, again, that you need not let the anxiety about the chart get to you: Be attentive to good communication and connecting rather than withdrawing from contact and engagement, etc. It might also mean (another possibility among many) that this job isn't a good job for you and there will be warning signals you should notice.

Or, it might be just what you think: Bad news about the interview. The progressions aren't good, this isn't your best time - there will be a better time later. In that case, still go in and give it your best. Overall, there is no such thing as a wasted job interview. In the worst case, it's a practice interview for something else later. Often you will make contacts that are useful later. It can always help you clarify where you stand.

If you have not already felt the positive symbolism from your Oct 12 SLR, I would guess you would get the job for the benefic symbolism of the Oct 12 SLR, and then feel the malefic influences of the the Demi beginning the job. Maybe long hours or working under a supervisor who is difficult with a malefic schedule, but all guesses. Sometimes starting new jobs are difficult to adjust to for new hours/schedules. Keep us informed.

Well, the "interview" on the 26th was actually a screening interview by a recruiter, and they set up a virtual interview for me on the 1st at 1:00 pm. I'm just anxious about it, but a little bit less since I've been practicing.

Be sure to decide if you want to work there before you take the job.

You're supposed to ask a bit about the company too.

And then there's the "best" question.

The problem with this is that, I live in a town with only 27,0000 people, and only one hospital. They do provide good benefits, and the hospital is pretty small compared to one of their main hospitals 44 miles away, so the patient load won't be as bad. It's a 2 year contract with a 5,000 dollars sign-on bonus for new grads.

So you really want that best question because you really want to be the best candidate.

But as a nurse in this climate, you probably won't have trouble getting hired.

Well, the interview went as well as it could. I was very nervous, but thankfully, it was virtual. If I do get the job, they want me to begin in a few weeks because they need someone. I was wondering. The only positive symbolism I see is the Jupiter conjunct the Secondary Q2 East point on Friday, November 5th. Is this transit to the progressed Natal chart useless?

Well, about the Dem-SLR. I've just been feeling sick. My nose has been terribly stuffed up worse than that period I was briefly pregnant. Little grievances have been popping up like I sell and resell mid-range to luxury handbags, and I haven't really had much motivation to list inventory or something always seems to get in the way. Nothing too big has jumped out yet..cross my fingers. I have four days left under this DSLR.

Well, great news. The conjunction to the West Point came through, and I got the job. Amazing thing is, the exactitude was for today, and I missed the phone call yesterday and got the call today.

27°38' Lib - t Moon
27°53' Can - SNQ EP
27°51' Cap - t Jupiter

It seems the Jupiter-rising SLR showed the overall event, then the SNQ showed when.

It was just this morning at 8:45. It's crazy. I usually don't pay attention to the progression charts unless it involves the progressed moon. I'm still marveling at the synchronicity.

BTW, looking at secondary charts - the kind most of us don't look at routinely - there is a strong lesson in timing from the Ennead's sub-charts, the 10° multiples called decilia.

Your October 26 chart (Sun 8°17' Libra) was a harsh chart with Sun rising in mundane square to Saturn on IC - both quite close. Uranus is also angular.

But your new chart this morning (Sun 18°17' Libra) has Sun rising opposite Uranus IC, plus an exact Moon-Jupiter square (and only a whisper of the malefics). Quite a shift! Here are the key positions:

8°57' Lib - Mars (9°07' from Asc)
17°14' Lib - Asc
18°17' Lib - Sun (0°44' from Asc)
17°48' Ari - Uranus (0°04' from Asc)

12°29' Cap - Saturn (8°06' from IC)
21°02' Can - MC
27°21' Lib - Moon (on EP-a 0°41')
27°51' Cap - Jupiter (6°59' from IC)

The key aspects are exactly angular Sun-Uranus (0°29'), moderately angular Moon-Jupiter (0°30'), and barely angular Mars-Saturn (0°55' mundo). That the Sun-Uranus is immediately atop your 17°26' Libra Saturn seems to say that the Sun-Uranus impact is on matters of work (+ survival, etc.).

I'm going to start watching the enneads. Sometimes, they just feel very hit or miss. Also, I always thought the 10-degree charts were wildly inaccurate.

I've had a slightly different experience: Considering Bradley's strong endorsement, I've usually found the Enneads uneven at best, and usually disappointing. The 10-day charts, though, often come through pretty well - on average, not as good as SLRs, but more likely to nail an event than the full Ennead.

I agree they deserve more careful watching. I just haven't been willing to add another 35 return charts to the year and didn't feel adding just the Enneads was worth it.

Re Enneads: I found the 10-days charts quite good, too, but as Jim says — one can only go so far with how many factors are observed, from practical perspective, on the smaller-timeframe basis.

I got my offer package yesterday. I'm kind of apprehensive because according to my offer they want me to do a health screening. I'm supposed to start December 6th, but unfortunately for my SSR progressed chart, there's Saturn conjunct the East Point on December 6th at 8:22 AM.

My SLR occurs the same day with an extremely benign Sun/Mercury conjunction on the Asc in Scorpio. Saturn is loosely on the vertex at almost 2 degrees, but it may not be much of an influence. I'm just kind of scared because my health may play a factor. I don't have any major health problems that could disable me, but I do have hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, and I take medication for anxiety.

You need to get over the health screening, of course, but my first impression when you mentioned the Saturn quotidian crossing is that it just means "getting back to work." My second impression was that the new SLR would be the stronger factor anyway.

I don't consider the Vertex a valid factor in return charts. (If I did, it would be very close: Mundanely it is only 0°41' from Vertex. But I don't consider it valid.)

The SLR does indeed have Sun-Mercury rising - Mercury much closer than Sun. This is on target for getting into a workplace and the invariable orientations, learning new people's names, finding the restroom, etc. If I were to worry about anything, it would be a factor you didn't mention: Neptune is 2° from square Asc, 1°41' from square Mercury. This, too, could be simply what one expects on a first day: Some confusion a slight overwhelm, a little anxiety, getting lost on the way to the restroom . Also, your Neptune is on EP, a bit more of the same. Your other natal planets foreground are Venus and Mars-Uranus, which seem exciting, not at all unpleasant.

So, I had another development regarding the job Friday morning. On 11/19/2021, my recruiter called at 10:27 AM to tell me that my sign-on bonus just doubled. The event chart wasn't too spectacular. Venus almost exactly on the Asc and Jupiter partile with the vertex. Oddly, enough, it looks like there was a eclipse happening in Tarus/Scorpio.

Venus was partile my SSR Q2 ASC.
