Vision for TMSA

Jim's 10/17 SLR (
viewtopic.php?f=21&p=41374#p41374) is a great example of what TMSA is evolving into : a free tool usable by professionals but accessible to learners. The programing is mine alone, but the ideas behind the programing are at least as much Jim's as mine. If God sees fit to spare me till we get to version 1.0, we will have something that genuinely rivals Solar Fire but is specialized to the needs of the our Fagan-Bradley Siderealist community--and it will not cost any seeker a damned cent. When the stars do call me home, this will be the legacy I leave behind--a man could do a hell of a lot worse. Such is the grace granted me by the stars and the God who made them.

Mike, you are doing a great service which has great future possibilities. When you finish your program, I hope I have time left to add as possible step by step instructions for new "learners" who use your free program. Learning a new astrological program is not an easy task for new learners.

Steve, if you are so inclined, 0.3.6 is stable, feel free to create a how to thread. If we are both spared, I hope to see what you write for version 1.0
.

I was waiting for your final version and then asking questions to you/Jim/members what they though would be needed for explanations for full/easier use for your free program. Speaking from my perspective in learning Sidereal Astrology, Matthew taught me how on Solarfire to compute all the charts in Fagan's/Firebrace book "Primer of Sidereal Astrology." This was instrumental for me being able to learn Sidereal Astrology and I think I need to start with detailed instructions with your program for calculating Sidereal Astrology charts.
But first I need to go through my own learning curve with your program, I am a slow learner. I know a few people who would love to start learning with your free program at their homes/offices, because first: they can't afford a personal program like SF, and second: their learning time is limited with their busy work loads and family schedules. Sidereal Astrology has so much to offer, but I also think other explanations are needed for the learning novice.
I have a busy schedule for the remaining calendar year and hope to get started with your program with the new year, kinda-like a new year resolution.
