Astrology doesn't really use those alchemical triad terms. - To try to dig into the question behind your question, there is indeed a fiery quality (in this case, martial) to any Scorpio placement.

FWIW, Phyllis Seckler used the alchemical triad to describe quadruplicities, and used Sulphur to describe Cardinal signs.

Here is a section talking directly about Mercury in Sidereal Scorpio:

That's a model created for the Tropical zodiac in Medieval times. In contrast, the ancient Egyptians equated Scorpio with Air. Mostly, I find it better not to use the elemental terms for the signs because people often have other associations with the elements from some field other than astrology, and it causes confusion.

The main characteristic of Scorpio is that it is of the nature of Mars. I tentatively gave you a thumbs up on Sulphur/Rajas only because Mars is fiery.

Many thanks for the reply, are Rajas related Neptune?

No. I'm not even sure why you ask (and especially in a thread that has nothing to do with Neptune).

No, very much not. Rajas is fiery in nature, Neptune is not. (And, again, these alchemical terms have little to no place in astrology.)

A parody of Christina Agulera, who has Mercury in Scorpio. Can't tell if this is praise or mockery.
