Flo Demi-SLR

Post by FlorencedeZ. »

I always look for partile aspects as a special message in a chart.
It was your teachings Jim where you said ‘partile aspects reign supreme’ that allowed to pay much clarity in determining the ‘main theme’ of a (Demi) SLR. Possibly a health chart.
From your book ‘Interpreting Solar Returns’ where you state:
It is when angularity and aspect partility coincide that outstanding incidents are most likely to take place.

My Demi-SLR started on December 18th which has t. Neptune partile conjunct Descendant.
Since then I have come down with severe flu which I have not had in years. I took the Covid test and it was negative. I remember t. Neptune had the same effect on you catching the flu.
Can't wait for this to be over.
So often my SLRs tell the story.

You and I are in exactly the same spot, Flo! My Moon-Sun-Neptune on angles SLR has been marked primarily by a terrible flu that hit halfway through, worst I remember having in decades. A week later most of the primary flu symptoms are gone but I can tell it will take about a week to get my strength back. My positive Demi-SLR has coincided with turning it around.

I'm so sorry to hear you're sick. This is just miserable. Yes, Neptune exactly on Dsc is the big marker on this one. I'm curious whether it has any specific link to this current flu in circulation. It probably, though, just generally refers to vulnerability, weakness, and convalescence. Your natal Pluto on EP-a is probably having you isolated, too, and you have (just for the run of the return chart) transiting Pluto mundanely square natal Sun. Here is your Demi-SLR from TMSA:

Thank you Jim, it's spot on.
I feel better in isolation somehow, am in no mood to be social.
General malaise, feeling sluggish, confused and disorientated. On top of the flu I had a sinus infection.
Today I will take another Covid test just to make sure.

I just read your post on Covid. Wishing you and Marion all the best Jim on a speedy recovery, and glad you had the booster, people are queuing up here too to feel more protected.

oh no! Be well soon!! dont forget to take mega doses of vit c and zinc and at least 2 multivitamins if you can tolerate things in your tummy.

I was concerned with my lunar return yesterday, as I too had Neptune (with Mars) Angular. I almost didnt go see family at Christmas because I thought I might catch something. I preventively started taking extra vitamins, as well as a vitamin tonic elixir I concoct, and making sure I got fresh air and exercise. It must have done the job because I'm not sick and feel pretty good all over, so I am hopeful that this lunar I wont be sick, I have a lot of work to do and really dont have the time nor inclination to be sick.

Here's to you feeling fantastic in 2022!!

Wow, you are definitely braver than I am! Even without charts like that, I'm doing everything I can not to see anybody in person.

Your SLR had transiting Neptune (Dsc 0°27') and Mars foreground with natal Mars (0°27') and Pluto. Transiting Neptune squares natal Mars (0°54'). I wouldn't have thought it safe (and I'd have been wrong). - You seem to be enjoying the social and health benefits of transiting Jupiter exactly conjoining your Sun this week. Happy new year!

Thank you Jim, Steve and Veronica.
Since today I feel good again. The past weeks were no fun.
It was indeed a rollercoaster, just when you think the flu is over, it wasn't. :o

Having looked at my new Lunar, r. Jupiter is conj. Descendant within a degree.
This is the marker of the current SSR. :)
Mike's TMSA is a wonderful tool, thank you Mike, it saves a lot of time calculating.
There are no major transits going on.
Happy New Year celebrations wherever you are. And a happy & prosperous 2022 in good health!

Happy new year, Flo.

Yes - a valuable tool that makes things quite easy. That natal Jupiter 1° from Dsc is nice for recovery.

In fact, something quite difficult to see without TMSA (or a lot of work!) is that your 6° natal gap between Moon-Jupiter narrows to a 1°43' mundane conjunction on the new SLR's angle, with the message: "Feel good!"

Well I saw this one coming and was pretty nervous at first...Marcy was flying in and the dinner party at my younger brothers was 17 people. I almost didnt go. but Ive just made sure I stayed up beat and positive and grateful and did a few very moving communion like meditations to open up channels of co existence and symbiosis. Which was not easy honestly, I have been having a few issues with my neck and working so hard that I hurt myself. but I refuse to be a downer. I do feel like I have been exposed and the virus is already in me and I am vigilantly keeping it in check, but I've felt that way since the beginning of 2020.
I had thought a few weeks ago that I might go get the shot, but that when I really looked at the Mars transit..the whole pluto/venus...and this lunar I thought I should put it off till next week, right before my demi. I definitely think if I had gotten the shot this week I would be feeling yucky, and I definitely would be feeling be yucky if I hadn't upt my health routine, which I wouldn't have done if I hadn't seen the Lunar.
So Yeah Lunars for giving a window to act and make things better! Yea!
My hair dryer died this morning though, so that was a bummer. but I fixed it for now, so it's ok.
Happy New Year!
