Son Solar Return 2022

The 2022 Solar Return for my son looks like a tough one with t.Saturn sq MC/IC 0'16', followed by r. Sun, r. Saturn and r. Mercury.
He just started a new job and for his birthday he has the possibility to travel to relocate the SSR within Europe quite alright, the closer the better to the Netherlands would be ideal.

In trying to get t.Saturn to move away from the angles and t.Sun closer, I looked at the best option so far being Calais in France where t.Sun is less then one degree from the Descendant.
Is this a good place for him to go you think? Or would there be a better alternative?
Thanks for your help. Regards, Flo

Date of birth son Huug:
15 Feb 1992 1:18AM Amsterdam, the Netherlands 52'N21" 004'E51"
Living in the Hague, the Netherlands

If you want to stay as close to Netherlands as possible, that may be the best move. Though sunset passes exactly through Paris, that starts to move into the Saturn territory, and someplace farther west escapes that a bit.

It's not a brilliant chart, but it's better than The Hague and has some positive benefits.

However, if he really is open to the whole scope of Europe, there is a Jupiter settings line in western Europe. This meets the "within Europe" criterion but not the "as close to Netherlands" as possible. The southern end is in northern Greece and it cuts across Bulgaria, western Romania, the eastern tip of Slovakia, and through the center of Poland not far from Warsaw. In fact, Warsaw is a fabulous chart with Jupiter opposite his Jupiter (almost partile) quite close to the horizon. If that's possible, I'd strongly recommend it.

Thank you for your reply Jim and thanks also for spending a bit of your time. I will share this with him and will suggest Warsaw, this looks so good.
Not sure about travelling there, everything is restricted nowadays.
We are the only European country still in full lockdown, when will this end, nobody knows. :?

If Warsaw is too restricted, there are other places on the same line. But Warsaw is such a spectacular city (I'm envious of the opportunity).

I just spoke with him and he says his new company may not approve him taking leave already. Calais is a four hour drive and this he can fit in in his schedule as he works in Belgium too.
Is it far better you think then staying in The Hague, is it worthwhile the effort as t. Saturn is gone?

He'll still get the Saturn when he comes home, as a local effect, but having any strong, positive, very close angularity will definitely take the lead - so I think yes, it would be worth it.
