Marion's 2022 Solar Return

Marion's next SSR has a close Mercury-Saturn square that's closely angular in LA (Saturn is partile). Months ago we looked for alternatives and it only took a few seconds to pick Chicago.

The chart is really awesome with a Moon-Sun conjunction within 0°16' that, in Chicago, is exactly square MC. While this gives the longitude, the latitude is provided by a Mars-Jupiter conjunction square Asc through approximately Chicago. (Jupiter is closer for Gary and parts of Chicago; Mars is 2° away, still in orb, but exact through Milwaukee, otherwise we might have revisited Milwaukee.) Here's how easy it was to detect on the map:

[REMOVED]

Jupiter's exact angularity is in Waukegan, IL just north of Chicago (right below the Wisconsin border). We're looking at hotelling in Waukegan to be there at 7 AM when the return occurs. Here's the TMSA breakdown of the SSR for Waukegan.

SSR Moon is 0°15' past Sun so will not progress to the exact conjunction. Nonetheless, she has the partile conjunction for the year.

But Sun does progress to Moon! (We don't usually see maturing aspects in the course of the year often.) Moon then progresses to natal Moon and Pluto. Here are the progressions of the SSR for the year:

Jul 1 - SQ Moon sq. r Pluto
Jul 21 - SQ Moon sq. r Moon
Aug 30 - SQ Sun co. s Moon

Given that t Mars can not be avoided with t Jupiter, I think that's a really good find.

For catching the t Venus line (and adventure! :) ), have you looked at Alaska?
I checked briefly Yakutat, and the Anchorage - that array in Anchorage really looks magnificent, it's a "let's have everything except Pluto and Sedna" :D , with focus on t Venus, and with her r Ju, Mo, Ve, Ne coming sharpest to the fore.

P.S. also, I see now (from brief SF preview only): Mendocino, CA has t Ve sq MC 03', followed by t Ur, Er, Me within 6*

But the chart for Chicago is simply too good to pass up! It make or a real powerhouse of a person.

Mendocino is a really troublesome chart. Despite that exactly angular Venus, it highlights the foreground Mercury-Saturn square we wanted to avoid (doubled up with the natal Mercury-Saturn square even more closely angular), brings natal Saturn tied with Venus for the most angular, and, bringing Pluto into the foreground, turns that angular Venus into a foreground Venus-Pluto square. It puts her Saturn-Saturn conjunction angular. That's a lot for even a 0' angular Venus to overcome.

Here is the TMSA breakdown for Mendocino. The aspects are probably the best way to put the different parts in perspective. The whole chart becomes isolating, alienating, and prone to distance, emotional hardship, and separation. (And the four Mercury-Saturn aspects wouldn't likely help either connection or her business interests.)

Mmm, I see. ( I didn't look at Mendocino in details, only noticed what quick SF preview shows, so mentioned it.)
Yes, the full list of angularity together with aspects does put things in perspective, and I agree it wouldn't be the best option (at least not in the sense of: undiluted-pleasant, or easy-going).

I don't think you can call a person easy-going with a horoscope dominated by a partile New Moon and close Mars-Jupiter conjunction.
