In looking at my current SSR which has the moon at 0 Virgo, I was curious if that implies that my lunar experience throughout the year would be Virgoian in Nature?
I didnt see any discussion on the constellation in which the moon lies for a SSR on the forum. I will look through my own SSRs at the moon sign and see if I feel the lunar sign is represented in my experience, but I think I would to first subjectively reflect on key years experiences before I actually review the SSR so that my keywords for the year are not biased by my prior knowing the lunar sign.
I will say that my experience of lunar qualities this year, and unfolding in my subconscious do deeply resonate with Virgo qualities very strongly. I'm at that point in time where I am fully embracing and accepting the feminine nature that resides in all things and bringing to consciousness ways to feed that and nurture it.

Re: Lunar Sign in SSR
I've never been able to make a strong enough connection to rely on it. I've seen other Siderealists I respect uses the SSR's Moon-sign as a general mask of the year (one recently referred to a Capricorn SSR Moon as showing a generally dour Moon) but I can't see it - at least, not enough to rely on it.
I do see a light (backdrop?) effect of progressed Moon. Also, with SSR Moon if it were afflicted I'd probably consider health problems in the part of the body shown by the Moon-sign, so something in my brain must think there is something to it. OTOH, with Moon in Scorpio this year, I can't say there is a Scorpio or martial trend or characterization for me. I don't see that Moon in Cancer (1974 SSR) describes the year I permanently moved from my native state and region to permanently relocate to California and reinvent my life.
I have long been intrigued that the year I essentially became pope and king in an important organization - a true ordination and enthronement under a SSR with a Jupiter-Pluto paran on angles - SSR Moon was 0°00' Aries, bridging the boundary of priesthood and kingship and seeming to mark a new start or transition in some sense. It's also true that the SSR for the year I married Marion had Moon conjunct Venus in Libra. So... maybe. Just maybe.
