It moved across North Carolina within about 6 hours. Sustained winds were clocked at 130 mph at its peak, and about 100 mph when it hit the U.S.

Using October 15, 1954, 10:30 AM EST, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Take a good close look at the quotidians!

My mother and the dogs disappeared (I didn't find out till I was in high school they hid under the bed during storms.) and that's my first memory of my father sitting with my brother and I, commenting on the lightening and the strange bangs outside (Oh that was a good one!)

Afterward I remember we went to the cottage my grandparents had on one of the Finger Lakes and saw where the boats had been blown up into the yard, and one of the old old old trees had been blown over and there was pottery inside.

The cottage was near what had been an Indian village where a famous Iroquoian war chief's mother lived. We found arrowheads and round ball bullets every time the farmers tilled the fields from when the Village was destroyed by settlers. My grandfather took the pottery, and the arrowheads and bullets to a museum a couple lakes over.

To this day I've never met anybody who likes a good lightening storm or wind storm as much as my brother and I.

Same symbolism for the worst Twister to hit Bama, except it was transits to the CapQ angles.

Reminds me when I was a kid and after a hard Spring rain where the farmers had plowed their fields, I would find lots arrowheads. Still have a couple of Cigar boxes full arrowheads.

Also look at the quotidians for Hurricane Sandy hitting NYC and New Jersey - same thing.

Birthplace. The cottage was on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes, west side of the west branch.
