I just noticed today that I'd never looked at charts for the murder of the great fashion designer Gianni Versace. He was born December 2, 1946, 6:00 AM CET, Reggio di Calabria, Italy. He was pronounced dead July 15, 1997, 9:12 AM EDT, Miami Beach, FL soon after being shot point blank in the head by a spree killer on his return home from a morning walk.
Transits alone had nothing at all to say - which is, perhaps, why this event got scant attention from astrologers. However, as usual the SLRs ran the show. His June 25 SLR had his natal Mars-Uranus stretched across the horizon squared by transiting Mars on MC - something you can only see mundanely:
0°54' 1H - r Mars
2°17' 7H - r Uranus
3°42' 10H - t Mars
The July 9 Demi-SLR was more complex - both Venuses made their way into the foreground (which I suspect is a measure of the enormous love that poured out to him in the days following) - but the single strongest planet was natal Saturn 0°01' from Zenith.

It becomes clear (without surprise
) that the
Topocentric Primary Directions for his shooting/death are right on point.
TPD Mars opposite natal Saturn (0° 7' orb)
TPD Pluto conjunct (topo) natal 8th cusp/powerpoint (0° 7' orb)
In the
Age Harmonic chart, there are only three "hard" aspects,
AH Mars conjunct AH Asc (the violent attack)
AH Mars square AH Saturn (deadly)
AH Jupiter opposite AH Sun (the publicity)
Age Harmonics, relative to his natal,
AH Pluto opposite natal 8th cusp/powerpoint
AH Mars conjunct natal Saturn

Impressive James! Ebertin COSI for all that Mars-Saturn (-) symbolism:
Cases of death.
Also impressive Jim for the Mars-Uranus symbolism. Ebertin for negative Mars-Uranus:
violence, struggle for survival, injury.

Jim, quick and slightly off topic question. Does Venus aspecting Uranus symbolize lesbianism like Mars aspecting Uranus does for men? Also, is Mars more important in the chart of men in terms of libido?

Venus-Uranus is extremely common for both male and female homosexuals - except, of course, that it isn't about the homosexuality
per se. It's about the willingness (sometimes an outright need) to find pleasure outside society's rules.
These aspects were more common in the '70s, '80s, even '90s. If one's own tasted and attractions are outside the socially acceptable norms, then people with Venus or Mars aspecting Uranus or Pluto are more likely to say, "screw the rules" and go for it. -- However, once the push for gay marriage became widespread (and then legally confirmed), smaller percentages of lesbians and gay men had these aspects: There was no longer a social barrier to challenge. It's getting harder every year to distinguish a 'gay chart' (and there probably never was such a thing, actually).
Here is a more complete interpretation of Venus-Uranus natal aspects:
Pleasure drives are free of social convention or taboo, allowing enjoyment from a wide variety of social and sexual experiences. They approach friendship, love, sex, and other pleasure on their own terms, with a deep instinct for flexibility and freedom from artificial constraint. Socially popular, friendly, engaging, and well-liked, in response to their lightly flirtatious, genial, roguish style. (Their social “character” often masks underlying innocence and vulnerability.) Often requires distance from intimacy or depersonalizes affection, which can strain conventional pairings. Usually optimistic for society’s future with a deep instinct toward a less Puritanical, more open social fabric.
