Following excessive rains in October 1927 (150% more than normal, on November 2-4, 1927 northern and central Vermont received nearly 300% more rain than usual, which saturated the ground and led to horrendous flooding. 9" of rain in 36 hours. I can't find one area that suffered worst, so I will use the capital, Montpelier, which is sufficiently central in this small state. Probably 0:00 November 3 hits the center of the rain and the events.
85 people died, 9,000 became homeless, roads washed out, 1,285 bridges and uncounted numbers of buildings were demolished.
NOTE: The October 4 Caplunar, covering the prior month, had Jupiter exactly on MC, among other factors - including a rising Pluto and Mars square Pluto and Ascendant. Its angles exactly matched those of the Capsolar, and nearly that of the Libsolar.
