Florida's worst natural disaster to date was the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane, also called The Forgotten Storm.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1928_Okeechobee_hurricane
More than 1,711 homes were destroyed in West Palm Beach, with Florida casualties of at least 2,500. (Total fatalities in all locations were 4,079, with $100M in damages. The story of its deadly march around the Atlantic is much bigger than the Florida part of the story, which was nonetheless tragic and deadly.))

Known especially for its deadly impact on Puerto Rico as a 160 mph Cat 5 hurricane late September 13, 1928 (apparently around 6 PM), it then touched Florida with first landfall "early" September 17, 1928 near West Palm Beach, FL (26N43, 80W03). [My gut says use sunrise.] The most severe impact was around Lake Okeechobee (26N56, 80W48), hence the name. Strong winds forced the water to overflow one side of Lake Okeechobee, flooding towns as far as 75 miles away, with depths up to 20 feet. From this, at least 2,500 died (drowned), with damages of $25M.

For a comparison, here is what things looked like for Puerto Rico for September 13, 1928, about 6:00 PM (using San Juan as a focus, but the island isn't big enough to a specific location to make a difference).

The CANSOLAR, which was also the acting Year chart, has Saturn 0°23' from IC.

The CAPLUNAR has Uranus sq. Asc (1°07') and a very distantly foreground Pluto.

The CANLUNAR is the Week chart, and has Moon on WP (0°24') and Pluto setting (1°01').

For the DAY, Uranus transits Capsolar Dsc (0°56') but, more to the point, CapQ Descendant opposes transiting and ingress Saturn (and an ingress Venus-Saturn conjunction):

19°23' Sco t. Saturn
19°30' Sco s. Venus
20°49' Tau CapQ Asc
21°20' Sco s. Saturn

The CanQ, in addition to the Moon-Pluto progressed conjunction and transiting Pluto conjunct CanQ Moon, has Jupiter on Dsc, which isn't a particularly good fit. Oh (almost missed it), it also has ingress Mars on WP, so that's not so bad - "violent storms" when we've seen it in these situations. Finally, transiting Saturn conjoins Cansolar IC (0°43').
