Nelson Mandela's death

Nelson Mandela's birth time is known only as "in the afternoon." Certainly there will be discussions in many places of his chart, celebrating his life and noting his death. I'd like, instead, to use the "birth data" that is absolutely certain - that is, Sidereal cardinal ingresses - to show the effect on his nation.

EDIT - I just learned time of death was 8:50 PM, in Johannesburg.

In Sidereal Mundane Astrology, I documented that deaths of U.S. Presidents were shown by ingresses with the Sun and malefics dominating the angles, and that this also extended to other significant types of leaders - including the spiritual and social leadership of Gandhi and King. With Mandela, who was a leader of his nation spiritually, morally, and politically long before he actually became its president, we expect much the same thing.

In fact, the Capsolar for the year in which his health was fading, and in which he died, the Sun is 0°03' from the IC for Johannesburg, and Saturn is rising within 5°. With Mercury, these are the only angular planets.

The Cansolar placed the Mars-Jupiter conjunction on the MC (Mars closer). The Libsolar then returned Sun and Saturn to the foreground (though widely) and placed Jupiter 2° from the MC. (This softens the underlying theme, and also surely signals the nation's week-long honoring.)

The Liblunar is the chart of the week. It features:
Moon on IC (2°39')
Pluto setting (3°10')
--- Moon-Pluto square in mundo (0°31')
Jupiter rising (7°04')
Venus setting (9°52')
-- Venus-Jupiter opposition (0°59')

This seems appropriate for the strongly-felt death with a secondary (backdrop) week of national celebration, though it is missing the distinctive solar presence.

Yesterday, when the death occurred and was announced, transiting Venus crossed the IC of the Johannesburg Capsolar. Transiting Sun squared the CapQ Ascendant (and has probably been within orb for many days). To increase the emotional "heartfelt" element we so often see with angular Moon, progressed Capsolar Moon at 23°48' Aquarius was exactly square the CapQ MC. The CanQ also played the Venus element, with ingress/progressed Venus on the CanQ Descendant and, a little more widely, square the CanQ MC.
