On the evening of March 8, 1971, the Media, PA FBI headquarters was burgled of nearly every document in its possession, and these documents released to the news media to prove that the FBI, indeed, had a "spying and dirty-tricks" program aimed at dissident groups. The eight perps were never caught, though now five of them have come forward after the statute of limitations for prosecution has passed.
