American famed basketball star, known by some as the "Best Player Alive." Over 13 seasons as pro basketball's most dynamic and influential star, a dazzling career, there seemed to be nothing he could not do. He won six world championships with the Chicago Bulls, ten scoring titles and enough Most Valuable Player awards to stock his own wing at the Hall of Fame. He may possibly be the most famous American in the world, and is certainly so in the sports world. His salary peak was $34 million in 1998 and he reputedly earned $240 million from endorsements alone in the '90s.
We can certainly see his tremendous success symbolized with Venus & Jupiter angular in the immediate foreground of his Natal Chart. Sun partile 45 Venus. Scorpio Moon partile 120 Mars and tight square Pluto. We seem to always find Pluto prominent in charts for stunning-shocking life circunstance, good and/or bad.
In 1993, he was shattered by the murder of his father in North Carolina during a roadside robbery. His dad, James (born 7/31/1946), vanished in mid-July and his body was later found floating in a So. Carolina creek 8/03/1993.
Transiting Saturn partile cnj Natal Sun for the tragic loss of his father, par-excellent symbolism for this event. Note Jordon’s 1993 SSR Moon progress to partile cnj of SSR Uranus & Neptune for the unexpected (Uranus) hysterical (Neptune) loss of his father on 8/3/1993. As Cyril Fagan taught-- partile aspects of SSR p. Moon times important life events, and we have seen this many times with analysis of SSR’s. His partile 90 of Saturn-Netptune could have symbolized his tragic loss of his father. Jordon was so shattered he removed himself from basketball for a year after his father’s death.

The main feature of his chart is the coangularity of Venus and Jupiter - especially Venus. He was born to live in a world marked by happiness, wealth, success, living like a king no matter what his station in life.

But where is the Mars? Shouldn't a great athlete have great Mars? Well, we know from the Gauquelin studies that, despite the fact that a statistically huge percentage of major athletes have a foreground Mars, not all of them do. Jordan does have one feature of athletes from the G-data: a nonangular Moon (which, in fact, is in the immediate background).

And there is plenty of Mars to add to his character: a 0°03' Moon-Mars trine (which is a tight Moon-Mars conjunction in the Navamsa) is also a mutual reception - Mars in Cancer, Moon in Scorpio. And Moon in Scorpio is a Mars layer all by itself. And it may be of significance that Moon is exactly conjunction that (theoretically) hyper martian star, Antares.

For "out of the ballpark" (to switch metaphors), that Moon is 1°11' from exact square to Pluto.

For Chicago, his chart has Moon 0°23' from Westpoint, bringing much of this (including celebrity status) to the fore.

But the real breakthrough chart is in Washington, DC! Not that far from his Brooklyn birthplace, it nonetheless places Jupiter 0°34' from Midheaven. Venus stays foreground, too, and Pluto is now foreground - Venus 5°05' on one side of Descendant, Pluto 3°13' on the other side of IC, so that the Venus/Pluto average (midpoint) is 0°56' from the angles (which also means, in the Mundoscope, 0°22' from the Jupiter). Let's lay this out more visibly in Mundoscope positions:

26°47' Pluto
0°00' angles (i.e., 30°00')
0°34' Jupiter
0°56' Venus/Pluto
5°06' Venus

Charlotte is an interesting variation for a different roll: Pluto 3°22' from IC, Jupiter 5°31' from MC, Jupiter-Pluto paran (foreground mundane opposition) 2°09'.

Excellent observation Jim. We see many cases where relocation outside of our control or my fated means changes the angular dynamics of Natal Charts. Michael was drafted by the Chicago Bulls which was outside his free choice of location to play professional basketball.
