Note his rising partile Mars-Uranus conjunction (signature of his natal chart) for his volitile ‘explosive temper,’ also for his passion for flying his airplanes and inventive musical career. Note the the tight 120 Mars-Uranus makes to Neptune. His Navamsha Chart features an exact Moon-Neptune conjunction, maybe explains his addiction and substance abuse. His Navamsha also features a 1,17 conjunction of Mars-Uranus repeating his r. Mars-Uranus conjuction. Ebertin says about negative Mars-Uranus:It was his many infidelities that hurt his marriage with his wife as well as an explosive temper. He tried to strangle Annie and then took a chain saw to the dining room table and headboard of their bed in retaliation for her cutting down trees beside their Aspen home. His passion was for his music and flying, the mountains and his home in Aspen. In 1993, Denver was having problems with the Aspen police department. He was given a DUI in September and had his driver's license suspended. On 8/21/1994, he was taken to the Aspen hospital with head and facial cuts from an accident in which he totaled his Porsche. His car accident occurred while he was again under the influence of alcohol (DUI). Denver wrote his autobiography in 1994 called, "Take Me Home" in which he candidly spoke of his marijuana, acid and cocaine use and of a suicide attempt in a London hotel room. He was killed when the plane crashed at 5:30 PM 10/12/97 in Pacific Grove, California.
Note his angular partile Venus-Jupiter 90 with Venus cnj WP (another prominent signature of his natal) , a most benefic influence for a successful creative singing/song writer career.Injuries through accidents.

Re: John Denver (Musician)
Denver's infidelities could be explained sufficiently by his foreground 0°08' Mars-Uranus conjunction rising in Taurus; however, of interest will examining whether mundane aspects might be important in natal charts, I notice that his Venus-Mars opposition is just under 2° mundanely (i.e., in the Mundoscope).
And his Venus-Jupiter is doubly important: Besides a partile square with both planets foreground, they are on opposite sides of their respective angles so that they are approximately the same distance from the angles on opposite sides. That is, in the Mundoscope (where such things are measured), the Venus/Jupiter midpoint is on the angles. (Venus is 8°08' below Descendant. Jupiter is 7°42' west of IC. Since they're on opposite sides, subtract one from the other and divide by two, and you get an average distance from the angles of 0°13'.)
And, despite his private violence, his public image was just SO NICE. He shined as Venus-Jupiter. And most of the other facts of his life you mention seem to be examples of simply living well, enjoying his home and nature, etc. Yes, Sagittarius is commonly committed to flying, and his Sun-Moon sign combination is the same as no less than Elvis Presley. Because his style is so different, it's hard for me to equate Denver to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Prince, or even Leonard Cohen or Frank Sinatra. But I think, just maybe, he belonged right in there with all of these other Aquarius Moons. (Oh, and note the substance abuse in that list.)
