De Lorean found himself on the wrong side of the law many times during his life. He married and divorced 3 times in his life and found himself in prison for part of his life. Bradley says about Mars-Pluto when angular in a chart:

Swift meting out of justice is the surest token of strong aspects between Mars and Pluto. The combination is essentially criminogenic, and the native may actually perpetuate misdeeds from which retribution follows swiftly and mercilessly.

He was aressested on 10-19-1982 in LA for drug charges. Note his 1982 SSR LA with Mars rising and Natal Mars 1,58 cnj SSR Dsc. Jim writes from ISR:

This is a fabulous Mars-Pluto example. Mars is barely a degree above Ascendant in Pisces, and almost partile square Pluto (which, in turn, squares Ascendant).

This is another example, too, of the "enjoying a lavish life" pattern we've seen. The Sagitrtarius-Taurus luminaries are ruled by Jupiter and Venus, and Jupiter is in the upper foreground (in its own sign, Sagittarius).

All the character traits you mention, Steve, just spill out of the chart. (Oh, Moon closely sextiles Mars also).

I find the stationary Mercury in Sagittarius interesting for someone who identified his life's work with cars. (Also speed more generally.)

His Mars in Pisces is, itself, quite interesting. I've noticed a number of people with this placement who get ostracized, marginalized, pushed aside - It's their own fault, in that they stir controversy and drama about themselves (for good reason or bad), and tend to be rather self-righteous about the whole matter and often flaunt / create drama around their 'singular' exclusion, wear their distinctions and unpopularity almost as a badge of honor. De Lorean certainly did this sort of thing. (Nobody with Mars in Pisces has ever been elected U.S. President <g>.)
