King Juan Carlos abdication

At 1:44 AM PDT, CNN broke the news that Spain's King Juan Carlos will abdicate in favor of his 46-year-old son, Felipe. No date has yet been given for the official transition. (The time is equivalent to 10:44 AM in Madrid. Presumably the formal announcement was soon before this.)
The Capsolar is dormant this year for Madrid, and the Cansolar carries forward Neptune exactly setting and Venus widely on the Eastpoint. There is a bit of scandal mixed with all of this, a gradual wearing down of popular respect for a once much-loved monarch.
The Arisolar is a harsh chart for the quarter, and is the key to the transition. Observe:
Mars on MC (0°43')
Pluto on EP (1°12'), stati
onary
Jupiter on WP (1°41')
-- Jupiter-Pluto op. (0°34')
Mercury on IC (4°49')
Uranus on IC (4°37')
-- Mercury-Uranus conj. (0°02' )
Moon on MC (5°09')
the Capsolar repeats the exactly angular Neptune - this time, it's rising (0°51'), and paired with Mercury on IC (3°49'). Their mundane square is 2°58'. (The new Canlunar is dormant.)
In the CapQ, we get the familiar pairing of Saturn and Neptune for an abdication, even though they aren't exactly in aspect. CapQ WP is on transiting Saturn (1°15'), and CapQ Asc squares t. Neptune (0°49'). CapQ Moon continues in the current aspects (still in orb of square Mars, now also in orb of opposition to Venus). And we can tell it's about the king with transiting Sun conjunct Capsolar Descendant (< 2°). Pluto continues its opposition to Capsolar Moon, of course.
Cansolar gives a little boost: Its MC conjoins t Uranus (just over 1°), its WP on t. Pluto (< 2°).
