Before I get into my relocated 2014 SSR, I need to talk about my Natal and its mode of astrological operations on my psyche/life. We always must closely examine our Natal at times when we bi-wheel em with our SSRs! I was born with Jupiter rising, I seek out entertaining fun things to do, its just natural me to do this--I am being me. I was born with a partile Sun-Uranus 90, I am a thrill junkie, I seek out things which put me under a strong feeling of thrill/excitement. Astrology is one of the things I love to analyze since I am a Virgo Sun. I am really not happy unless I have something to analyze astrologically. This is what I know about myself from 40 years of studying astrology. I am also a firm believer in Donald Bradley’s astrological research that an un- afflicted Uranus is a benefic. Uranus has certainly acted as a huge benefic for my life with its set-up in my Natal Chart.

My wife Gayle and I have been to over 26 live musical concerts in our 52 years of marriage, we love certain same musical artists. In 2014 my wife wanted to go to Red Rocks in Morrison, Co to see Grace Potter, one of her favorite female rock & rollers. Grace is good but never really turned me on in a big way with her music. But, Grace happened to be performing in Morrison on my birthday, and I took a look at my relocated SSR to Morrison and saw a tremendous amount of angular Uranus---so I said to myself—OK, my first experimentation for relocating a SSR for myself. Link below is my 2014 SSR relocated to Morrison, Co (inside wheel) bi-wheeled with my Natal (outside wheel).

Pleas note both SSR Uranus & Natal Uranus are tight orbs on the SSR angles (IC-DSC). Jim has always taught when both the same SSR & Natal Planets appear near/on the SSR angles--that planet will take on a strong theme planet for the solar year! Also very important to note that angular SSR Uranus is partile 180 my Natal Mercury!!!! And, angular Natal Uranus is partile 90 my Natal Sun!!!! This is my junkie Thrill Natal aspect. In fact while we were in Morrison I noted my Solar Quotidian in 30 hours after my birthday would form a Natal Sun-Uranus Solar Quotidian Paran (SSR Zenith-DSC)!!!! Now remember---Grace Potter was not a favorite of mine---nothing she offered me in a big thrilling way---but I knew my wife would be so excited she might have an organism watching her favorite female musical artist .

Here is what happened on my 2014 birthday with my SSR relocated to Morrison, Co for a live musical concert:
As the crowd was waiting for the musical concert to begin, on the distant horizon there were bolts of lightning (Uranus). Then a new unexpected (Uranus) musical artist I have never heard of appeared on stage with his band for a pre-opening before Grace Potter's main event, his name Trombone Shorty (link below). Still today after being to over 2 dozen musical concerts in my life, Trombone’s performance was the most electrical (Uranus) musical performance I had ever seen in my life. He stole the night from Grace Potter’s main performance with the entire crowd at the venue. Trombone had the entire venue crowd on their feet for his 1 hour performance. Never have I seen/witness such an electrical/exciting (Uranus) performance by a musical artist in my entire life---it was a totally unexpected (Uranus) musical performance for me, it raised goose bumps on the back of my neck!

After I got back to the motel that night, I realized I had experienced a super charged Sidereal Astrology Solar Quotidian (SQ) moment (DAY) in my life, Solar Quotidians are daily charts and I was witnessing/experiencing my very first SQ day (birthday) for my new 2014 solar year with angular Uranus covering me like a banket. When I got back home to my main residence, I was closely monitoring my relocated SSR for the rest of my solar year to see if I could see/determine if I was going to experience any more prominent angular Uranus symbolism since my 2014 SSR set-up in Morrison, Co with big-time angular Uranus symbolism, and for sure, I did not come close to experiencing any more strong prominent Uranus for the rest of my solar year back at my main residence. Normally, relative to my immediate environments with my normal everyday living at my main residence, I can always look forward to possible Uranus excitement with my favorite football team (Alabama) winning another national championship. Alabama did make it to the championship series which was very exciting (Uranus), but they lost to Ohio State in the semi-finals, the game was never close/exciting. Nothing coming close to comparing with the Morrison, Co angular Uranus symbolism.

My personal conclusions with my first time relocating SSR for myself, subject to change with more experience/evidence:

As long as you have clear fun recreational objectives to a relocated location, you can relocate a SSR to catch a very prominent Solar Quotidian Day for a super charged angular benefic first day of your new SSR, but IMO, don’t expect to be able to take the same very prominent angular benefic planetary symbolism back to your main residence and expect the same type results throughout your solar year. BUT, for sure it will not hurt you to put angular benefic symbolism on your relocated SSR chart to take back to your main residence, you have nothing to lose, only gain by taking a trip for your birthday. Can you make prominent malefic angular SSR symbolism at your main residence go away by relocating a SSR to pick-off benefic angular symbolism? I have my serious doubts, but I simply don’t know the answer to this question because I have never tested it for myself. If I live long enough and see prominent malefic angular symbolism on my main residence SSR, I damn sure will relocate my SSR to an angular benefic relocation and report back the results, I will have nothing to lose. But understand—this is only one example of a relocated SSR and certainly can’t be written in stone as a final judgement for the same type experiences for other people relocating their SSRs for whatever their personal purposes an individual may have. We just don’t have enough solid statistical evidence for final conclusions, we are still under theoretical reasoning.

Stee, you have summarized my view that there is much to gain and nothing to lose by taking a birthday trip to an astrologically fantastic area, All gain, and no pain (unless you don't like the travel). Even if I'm wrong about how location works, it's a net positive.

I had a thematically similar experience with my 2016 SSR in Hurricane, Utah. It was much quieter than yours, though. If I'd known then what I know, I might not have made that trip (which would have been a shame), since my SSR back home had my exact natal Sun-Jupiter-Uranus paran precisely angular. It was still moderately angular in Utah, but the key difference was transiting Uranus exactly at MC. We were camping in a van in a small state park on the backside of Zion. Without planning the timing, I woke up in the middle of the night shortly like tzafter the SSR and, as I opened the van door, was stunned at the look of the moonless sky. Of course, I've seen the naked sky many times in my life (including growing up away from a city), but in 2016 I hadn't seen it like that in over a decade. I was utterly entranced, as if I were in outer space myself, seeing the vast stars and their patterns, then noticing the lake and low hills around us. Nothing quite like those first few minutes, but the rest of the year was fascinating and interesting in its own way (plenty of surprises and revelations that year).

Influencing a difference in our views is that I did replace a Saturn exactly rising (+ exact Pluto) SSR in LA with a double Jupiter + double Uranus SSR in Milwaukee and had one of the best years of life (including our wedding).

For completeness, here is what I get for your Morrison SSR in 2014. Besides transiting and natal Uranus owning the show, you have a 0°04' Moon-Jupiter mundane conjunction helping offset the close worldwide aspects of SSR Moon to BOTH natal and transiting Saturn. Aksi at 0°04' is Uranus' transit opposite your Mercury.
In comparison, here is your SSR for Springville. Interestingly, it also has transiting Uranus as the strongest factor and (I'm not sure how this happened) keeps the 0°04' Moon-Jupiter conjunction. (I really don't know how the math made that happen.)

Exactly Jim! I am a big believer for traveling purposes-- every Sidereal Astrologer should seek to relocate there charts, particularly their SSRs to calculate benefic angular activity, one has nothing to lose, only possible gain. If one is going to take an annual vacation, try go to a destination with benefic angular activity. Besides, Dali Lama said that everyone should try once a year to go to a new destination just to experience a new place for the soul.

Jim, I understand exactly where you are coming from with your inner experience when you relocated to Hurricane, Utah for a camping trip. You experience a moment in time very special for your life/soul by being able to see/understand as a Sidereal Astrologer that it was meant to be you were at the right place at the right time to know the heavens are actually communicating with you at that special moment in TIME when you were viewing the night heavens. I too have awoke camping in Utah and witness the starry heavens at night, it truly is a wonder to behold where there is no light pollution. Sidereal Astrology charting is so special, I am so lucky I crossed paths with the early fathers teachings of Sidereal Astrology, and then crossed paths with you on this forum with your special astronomical knowledge which allowed me to understand on a deeper level where the early Sidereal Astrologer fathers were coming from. From the bottom of my heart---I thank you Jim for your Sidereal Astrology teachings, they are priceless and unique for my life in so many different ways. I try to remind myself every time I make a post on this forum to give you full credit for your teachings, because without your teachings I would not be able to make most of my posts on this forum, and without this forum there would be a void in my life.
