At 8:53 AM PST, CNN broke the news that, "Shiite Houthi rebels have overtaken Yemen's presidential palace... The Prime Minister's residence was also under attack..." It's "the completion of a coup" and "the President has no control," according to the Information Minister.

CNN continued: "Fighting was earlier reported around the presidential palace in the capital, Sanaa. Heavy clashes Monday between government forces and Houthis -- Shiite Muslims who have long felt marginalized in the majority Sunni Muslim country -- ended in a ceasefire."

Year: Capsolar
The new Capsolar is mixed, though primarily positive:
Moon (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn). Moon-Mercury, Moon-Jupiter, Mercury-Saturn, Ve/Ju <5'>, Ve/Sa, Jupiter-Saturn.
This chart is consistent with a populist uprising - I'm not yet sure that this is exactly what's going on, but the chart is consistent with it. It's not really violent and, for a coup in general, it lacks quite a lot.

Month: Caplunar
Venus, Jupiter <9'> (Mercury, Saturn). Mercury-Venus-Jupiter (Venus-Saturn).
This also is not consistent with a coup. (It would be the sweetest coup on record.)

Day: Capsolar Quotidian & Transits
CapQ Asc sq. s. Mars, op. s. Saturn.
----------------------
t. Mercury conj. s. MC
The partile Mars-Saturn square of the Capsolar came immediately to the angles. This accurately described the day with little support from the prevailing solar ingress, and no help at all from the prevailing lunar ingress. Mercury likely shows, for the most part, that this is news.

Day: Cansolar Quotidian
CanQ Asc conj. p. Sun
CanQ IC conj. p./s. Mars
-- Cansolar Sun-Mars sq.
t. Uranus conj. p. Moon (18'), t. Pluto sq. p. Moon (36')
