Prince Charles (now King Charles III), Nov 14, 1948, 9:14 PM GMT, 51N30'03", 0W13'48"
Diana, Princes of Wales, Jul 1, 1961, 7:46 PM BST, Sandringham, England
I was surprised I didn't have this pair on this section already. I know that neither of their nativities is wired for successful conventional marriage, but I didn't recall how their synastry worked. Perhaps I've never looked at it in detail.
From Charles' perspective, the first noticeable thing is that Diana's Jupiter is precisely on his Descendant and her Sun near his EP-a. I am not the first to suggest that she brought actual royalty to him (something he desperately lacks).
Her Moon-Venus-Uranus T-square is near his Sun, with the closest aspect being her Uranus square his Sun (but her Moon and Venus are also plenty close to aspecting his Sun).
Her Pluto is partile conjunct his Saturn which might not be as important except that her Mars conjoins them both - it makes a somewhat wide Mars-Saturn interchange more important. (OTOH, her Mars is 0°05' semi-square his Venus.)
Flipping the charts around, his Mars is close to her Ascendant. He has other planets broadly in her foreground (including Venus broadly near her MC) but his Scorpio Mars conjunct her Ascendant is easily the closest.
His Sun (as already mentioned) sets off her Moon-Venus-Uranus T-square, hitting on all cylinders. His Moon is split between squares to her Jupiter (4°+) and her Saturn (3°).
Overall it's not bad, with that Mars-Pluto to Saturn being the worst and perhaps tipping his Mars on her Ascendant in the wrong direction. Much in the interchange speaks more of business than love - and his Venus brings little to nothing to her chart, other than the 5' octile to her Mars - but the personal elements are solidly there especially if one follows the usual royal expectation that she provides more to him than he provides to her.
After all... his children are now Spencers!
