Tomorrow, an official announcement will be made that U.S. and Cuba are normalizing diplomatic relations, including exchanging embassies. We're still under fabulous lunar ingresses. Let's see how it looks, k?

for Washington
The Capsolar and Cansolar are dormant, though the Capsolar is marked by a close Moon-Jupiter square - the most recent in a series. The Arisolar then is harsh and ugly.

But the lunar ingresses are wonderful for this sort of thing. The Caplunar has Venus exactly culminating. The Canlunar has Jupiter culminating and Venus square Ascendant. (The Liblunar is dormant.)

The CapQ is not friendly. It's conflictual. Tomorrow transiting Mars squares CapQ Midheaven (in fact, during the middle part of the day, there is a Moon-Mars opposition doing this). Transits to the Capsolar include Uranus on IC.

The CanQ isn't exactly friendly: Neptune is on Descendant. The basic sense seems to be "dog & pony show." Transits to the Cansolar produce Mercury on MC, so at least there will be reporters ;)

for Havana
The Capsolar isn't at all dormant - this is an epochal change. Pluto is 1° from EP, Uranus is 2° from IC, and the Moon-Jupiter ecliptic square becomes a Moon-Venus-Jupiter (+ some Mercury) T-square. The Arisolar has Mercury 1° from IC square a rising Pluto (plus the lunar aspects we all know about).

The Caplunar has Moon < 1° from IC, and a little bit of Venus and Uranus... except, that "little bit" of wide-orbed angularity puts the Venus-Uranus midpoint 0°18' from the angles, so "changes in foreign relations" definitely fits. The Canlunar has Venus 0°21' from square Ascendant (< 2° from MC), and Jupiter 5° from MC. The Liblunar, far from being dormant, has Jupiter 1° from square Ascendant, conjunct Venus. So, this is a big, beautiful deal for Cuba!

Tomorrow, Havana's CapQ has Sun on Ascendant. The CanQ (which might not actually be active, since the CapQ has a specific say) has t. Saturn exactly on IC. Neptune continues to transit Cansolar WP.
