Marion's 2024 SSR

We're finalizing details of our trip for our 5th wedding anniversary (May 27) and Marion's SSR (May 29). We know we'll be in Houston (hi, Lance!). There are two different trip models. Were it not for Kali not being quite as sturdy as she used to be (well, that's true of all of us) we'd take four days and drive to Houston (LA - Phoenix - El Paso - San Antonio and see some wineries - Houston), have her SSR over dinner that night, then drive the next day to Wright City, OK for my SLR the following morning (only 5 hours away, so worth the drive) and see the unusual wine area there, then drive back to Amarillo, then Albuquerque, then Phoenix or Flagstaff, then home.
But that may be too rough. The alternative plan is to fly to Houston (LA-Houston is quite cheap), rent a car, spend whatever time we want there (with added hotel costs, and perhaps only one night), drive to Wright City and stay a day, drive back to Houston and fly home.
In either case, we plan to be having dinner in or on the outskirts of Houston when her SSR sets up May 29 at 7:31 PM CDT. The most perfect area is on the SE corner, on the bay - the small communities of Baytown, La Porte, or Seabrook. Surely we can find a nice seafood restaurant there that isn't too over the top! La Porte is the most perfect. Here's the breakdown (it's not perfect but it's nonetheless awesome):
