2024 NCAA National Football Championship

Wagering 50 $ on Texas to win 2024 NCAA Football Championship at + 750 (risking 50$ to win 375 $). If Texas wins this championship, I will get into the symbolic chart details for Sidereal Mundane Astrology in Austin Texas. This year 12 teams will qualify for play-off instead of the previous 15 years with only 4 teams in the play-offs. It Texas makes the play-offs--it will be some recreational fun for me.

Texas (Austin) has just become the # 1 rated team in college football. Jim, If they happen to win the national championship I think it will be with the mundane placement of Jupiter on Vertex circle in PVP aspect with Pluto if memory is serving me.

You mean the 2025 Capsolar for Austin, right? It's even a bigger deal than that - because Sun is also involved (and a Mars-Jupiter "victorious competitor" aspect). Here is a breakdown of the Austin Capsolar from the most recent (much improved) version of Time Matters. PVP aspects are marked
p. - The new TM (alpha version of 0.6) now correctly calculates and displays PVP aspects, which might I think is all new in the last month since you last looked at it.
Pluto Dsc 0°26'
Moon, Sun, and Mars more widely foreground
Sun-Mars op 0°11' M
Sun-Jupiter sq 0°34' p
Mars-Jupiter sq 9°57' p
Jupiter-Pluto sq 1°12' p

Indeed Jim—the 2025 Capsolar for Austin. Outstanding work you have done with mundane planets on the Vertex in PVP aspects! I will download new version of TM with any follow-up questions. Thanks

Jim, I downloaded the link you provided but I think it failed to overwrite my old TM version, because it does not “display PVP aspects” as you provided for Austin’s 2025 Capsolar. Do I need to delete the old version before I download the 0.6 version? Thanks

It should overwrite it. It did for me. Make sure you enable PVP aspects in Chart Options.

You shouldn't have to uninstall the old one.
You might, though, have to remove the shortcut you used to launch the old one. There are still uneven shortcut behaviors.
The installed one should have the version 0.6.0a6 at the top.
If you decide to uninstall the old one, you can preserve your chart files by going to Documents\tmsa and copy the Charts folder. Or, to get a really clean setup, RENAME the entire tmsa folder in Docments to something like
tmsa BACKUP 9-24-24. You'll always have it handy to recover old chart files if you want, and you can then feel free to uninstall the old program and install fresh.
With my settings, the aspectarian for the Austin Capsolar looks like this:
Class 1 Aspects
Su op Ma 0°11' 100% M
Su sq Ju 0°34' 96% p
Ma sq Ju 0°57' 89% p
Ju sq Pl 1°12' 83% p

Jim, my GEEK friend and I cannot get the new version of TM to download after removing the shortcut to the older version. He is going to get back to me later telling me how to put a 'viewer' for him on my desktop so he can take control of my computer where he can do his thing to try and get the new version to download. If this fails he will completely remove the entire file of the older version of TM---no big deal if we can't figure out how to save my old charts---only had a few. Thanks

We got new version of TM installed Jim with saved chart files
. The only thing we can figure out what went wrong this morning is when a Windows message came-up telling us Windows was protecting my computer from downloading the new version, we never saw a second windows screen asking us to "download anyway". When we clicked "download anyway" ---presto--a successful download. My friend deleted all of the all versions of TM but was able save my chart files. Thanks Jim for your suggestions on what to do.

On the front screen, click Chart Options.
To edit the default ingress configuration, click the Load button at the top and pick Ingress_Default.opt. When this loads, click the PVP Aspects button (lower right). Check the box that says Enable. Add the orbs you want: I suggest you put (for all aspects) 1.25 under C1, 2.0 under C2, and 3.0 under C3 (but make your own choices). Click Save.
Make any other changes on the page that you may want for ingresses. Then click Save.

Ah. I got it! This isn't the very newest version. Look at the bottom line and you will see it's version 0.5.2.
That's a really good version but it doesn't have the same features as the newest (experimental but working) version, which you can download here. (No need to remove the old version, just install on top of it.)
https://mega.nz/file/4WESHYhQ#YkvHPMTxF ... nKX7nGItdY
BTW, I figured this out because of a minor bug in the current version: It labels both Vertex and Antivertex "Vx." Yours has Jupiter correctly labelled "Av" for Antivertex (the bug doesn't really affect the outcome). Then I looked at the bottom and saw you had an earlier version. The last line of mine says:

OK, if you have the right version then PVP aspects should work if they're turned on ("Enabled"). The easiest way to check is: As you calculate one, click Temporary, then click PVP Aspects, and see if Enabled is checked.

Jim, "Temporary" was checked and I still get the same (below). WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF KB your TM is showing???[/quote]
Where? The executable, or somewhere else? TMSA.exe is 199 KB. I think you must mean something else because your number is much larger. (Do you mean one of the folders.)
But I didn't mean to check the box that says Temporary. I meant, on the row that beings with "Options," clicking the button labelled "Temporary."
temporary.png
After that (when you're in the temporary Chart Options), click the new button marked "PVP Aspects." I'm betting "Enabled" isn't checked. (If that's true, I'll give you the permanent fix.)

I think you might have overwritten part of Steve's post. Other than that, I agree with your assessment of the situation.
Steve, you may want to double check if you're on 0.6.0a6 (or 0.6.0a7 if you download the newest link in that thread). It will say it at the top of the program while it's running.

I just did a test, Steve, and see that we did something that made this harder for you (and others). When one first installs Time Matters, PVP aspects are not turned on (enabled) for ingresses, so you have to know to go in and change this setting. (I did mention doing that along the way, but with all the different troubleshooting steps, this could easily have gotten overlooked.
I'm going to ask Mike to change this, since ingresses are the one place we know hands-down that PVP aspects work (they're part of the standard system in
SMA).
Meanwhile, here are the steps to make that change:
- On the home screen, click Chart Options.
- At the top, click Load. Pick the file Ingress_Default.opt. (If clicking on the file doesn't immediately return you to TM, click Open.) You should now see "Ingress Default" in the top field.
- Near the lower right, click PVP Aspects.
- Click the box next to Enable so that a checkmark appears. (Ensure the orbs are what you want.)
- Click Save.
- Make any other changes you want in how ingresses appear. (This doesn't affect any other kind of chart.)
- Click Save. This will return you to the home screen.
Now every ingress you run will have PVP aspects enabled. If you ever want to check it (because a chart comes out differently than you think it should), then
while calculating the ingress you can click the Temporary button next to Options to see the current settings.

Woops! You're still using the older (0.5.2) version, not the newer (0.6.0a7) version. This older version doesn't have the features you're missing.
I thought you had installed 0.6, no? But the version you ran is a 0.5 version. Again, here is the download link:

In the new program, are you recalculating the ingress? (This would produce the best result.) Or are you pulling up a copy that you previously calculated? (This would still be from the earlier version.)
I can't think of any way the program would say 0.6.0a6 at the top and create NEW charts that are labeled 0.5.2. However, if you previously calculated the chart under 0.5.2 and simply opened it in the new program, it would still be the old chart.
I know this is frustrating you and I'm sorry. I'm quite willing to hang in there until we get it right for you because this will feed your strong interest, excite you, and produce lots of fun, interesting stuff for everybody.

Hurrah!
BTW, you can use them - you just get the old version. Sometimes people want the old version and that's fine. But to make this clearer, we put at the botyom of every chart the date the chart is calculated and the version of the program used to calculate it.
I'm delighted you are getting PVP aspects now. You will have so much fun. Take a look at the upcoming Libsolar for Washington with these added - they make it a very different chart!

I have looked at the 2024 Libsolar a long time ago when I knew it would be Trump vs Biden and simply saw Uranus-Pluto primarily on the angles, telling me there would be high % for a change in leadership. But then Biden dropped out of race but Libsolar still telling me high % for a change in leadership. So, the Libsolar symbolic change to me involves high % new leadership will be Harris. Just simply looking at the angular Ur-Pl Libsolar symbolism I think high % it will be a revolutionary change (Ur-Pl) with first lady Prez for the Country. I think the populace as a majority are tired of males running the show. Maybe with Venus involved in this Libsolar with PVP aspects it symbolizes a peaceful change involving a woman (Harris). If so, I sure hope she can restore peace to our Country. For sure if Harris is elected we will see the last of Trump’s rising Mars influence spilling over into things. I am also very hopeful if Harris is elected her d Jup teeing-off her full moon brings something extra benefic to our country and the world. I can’t recall every seeing a leader’s chart with a direct Jup in major partile aspect to both r lights.
What is your take with the Libsolar's PVP aspects?

It's in the Libsolar forecast; but the gist is that that Sun-Uranus and Sun-Pluto together definitely showing a change in leadership (which we now know will be the case no matter who wins, though Harris is the only "new president" in the mix). Also, the Sun's PVP aspects to both Venus and Uranus - which are in foreground opposition as the main aspect of the chart - brings the abortion issue to the forefront for the election, probably gives a happiness-thrill factor, and may have an allusion to a woman being elected.
Since Uranus and Pluto are not in aspect, and Uranus isn't all that close (the third closest angularity and Class 2), I wouldn't have forecast an overthrow from just the Uranus and Pluto angularities. (I would have done it from Biden's SSR alone, and then would have admitted that the Libsolar means "people are ready for a change.") - But then, back late last year, I saw the Libsolar had Sun-Pluto and Sun-Uranus (PVP) aspects - and said, oh, yeah, they want to remove the sitting Head of State, Biden for sure doesn't win.

I hear you Jim. For a long time DC's 2024 Libsolar has symbolically screamed "change" of leadership for the Country for my mind. What better change than the Country elect their first female.
