This week, scientists reported that they had first heard the sound of gravity waves hitting their instruments from the collision of two black holes a billion or so years ago. This occurred September 14, 2015, 4:00 AM, Livingston, LA.
I just wanted to record the data here in case we need it in the future. There was quite a lot happening in mid-September, but I'm not sure we can attribute any of it to this brief impact of earth with a wave " 50 times greater than the output of all the stars in the universe combined."
