August 7-11, 1933, throughout northern Iraq but especially at Simele. Between 600 and 3,000 deaths. 36N51 42E51.

Systematic massacre of Assyrians of 63 different villages in northern Iraq by the Kingdom of Iraq's military, in the aftermath of longstanding conflicts. This began August 7, 1933. The specific massacre of Simele ("the last refuge for Assyrians fleeing from the looted villages") was on August 10-11, with the actual slaughter on August 11 ("the troops began to fire indiscriminately against the defenseless Assyrians"); though I don't have a time of day (use noon).
