Solar quotidians and location

I'm not clear on if we should take the original location of the SSR (or its quartis, if we are using that experimental method) when calculating the angles of the SQ, or one's current location. It seems to me that we should use the current location, but that would be in stark contrast to the way in which we approach the SSR in every other circumstance. I took a quick look and didn't see this explicitly stated anywhere.

To be clear, let's say I'm in London for an SSR, and then travel to New York (neither of which are where I live during the year) for an event. If I was calculating my SQ for that event, I would use the New York version of my SSR, wouldn't I?

In my experience, Quotidians are local. They occur where you are.

I agree with Jim's experiences with SQ's, my favorite charts to monitor.
