Jo Cox, a rising star in Britain's Labor Party, was murdered yesterday (stabbed and shot), making her "the first British lawmaker to be killed in office" since Ian Gow, 26 years ago.

The murder was June 16, 2016, just after 1:00 PM, in Birstall, England. Next Wednesday would have been her 42nd birthday. (She was pronounced dead at 1:48 PM.)
