It's very strange, but everyone hates Meghan Markle. I find her to be insufferable as well, but everyone in Hollywood is obnoxious, pretentious, and insufferable. On the surface, Cancer Sun/Leo Moon is the sign of a very strong woman. Add her Jupiter/Saturn into the mix, and she should be a messiah to a lot of people.
I feel like my traits being a Leo Sun/Sagittarius Moon come across as a lot worse and what the new generation would see as regressive.

She's actually Cancer Sun and Virgo Moon, born (per her birth certificate) August 4, 1981, 4:46 AM PDT, Canoga Park, CA.
In no sense is it a bad chart but, from a point of pure likability, it has its drawbacks. Start with Mars 100% strong angularity (22' from square MC) and Saturn 100% aspect strength for Moon conjunct Saturn 0°52'. (She has Moon conjunct Jupiter, too - became a duchess along the way - but that's wider than either of the other two.) Third, she has a lot of Pluto, not so much from its wide angularity as the close Sun-Pluto mundane square.
So she has a lot of traits I consider positive of going her own way, doing things in her own style and by her own rules, etc. - but these do tend to come with little obvious care for other people and a tendency to rub people raw.
At least as important - maybe more - is that Venus and Neptune represent her weakest needs, being acutely background and not tied into either luminary. Pleasing people is not a priority for her. This tends to make one unpopular.

I don’t think people see you as regressive.
I adore Megan from what little I know, and I think the people in Hollywood and Southern California in general are mostly some of the most wonderful people I have ever met or interacted with. But I attribute that to my own character and its synastry/ chemistry with others. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
