January 30,1607 (NS), around noon.
"resulted in the drowning of a large number of people and the destruction of a large amount of farmland and livestock. Recent research has suggested that the cause may have been a tsunami."
January 30, 1607 (NS), noon, with Cardiff in Wales being the worst hit (St. Mary's Church foundations were destroyed). Since this is also the capital, it is double useful as a spot. Quite a wide area was affected, struck more or less simultaneously, consistent with the modern idea that this was a tsunami. At the time, God was blamed directly.
Floods drowned in excess of 2,000 people plus uncounted livestock. Houses and villages were "swept away." Local economy was devastated.
NOTE: I won't include this in my section on floods, because it's not a typical flood, i.e., not based on rain. It really does look like a tsunami. It's quite interesting overall. Look at all the various Moon-Neptune layers, for example, plus Saturn's transit to CanQ Moon. Notice that despite all the extraordinary aspects in the Bridge, none of them is location-specific - this was an event covering a wide area, which makes be think there also was a mammoth earthquake somewhere, perhaps on the other side of the world as with the Krakatoa event.
