Osama bin Ladin death

The fifth most "universally impactful" televised event, according to CNN, was the death of Osama bin Ladin. This means that (regardless of what really happened) this is relevant as a social-impact and media event.

Bin Ladin reportedly died May 2, 2011, shortly after 1:00 AM PKT, in Bital Town, Abbottabad, Pakistan (specifically: 34°10′9″N 73°14′33″E).

I think the important mundane astrology event is not the shooting, though, but, rather, the public and media immersion in the event of the shooting. When did the media focus begin? Pakistani tweets began to report something happening at 12:58 AM (3:58 PM EDT, May 1). At 9:45 PM EDT, the White House announced a presidential address of the nation later that night. At 10:24 PM, various tweets started announcing what had happened. Anonymous government confirmation came by 11:00 PM. At 11:35 PM, President Obama addressed the nation on TV and gave the news.

I will use the time of the presidential address as the "event" under investigation.

Revisiting this today, on the 5th anniversary of the shooting. Time flies. It remains an interesting set of charts, especially for Washington.
