Re: Dormancy Question?

Thanks for the reply Jim, but where can I download the current Sidereal Mundane Astrology?

My version starts at chapter 3, and ends at Appendix B.

Dormancy Question?

When searching for a Cap Solar chart as a base to render some Quotidian charts; I realized the Cap Solar was dormant according to the Mundoscope. I then tried the CanSolar, LibSolar, and AriSolar charts but they were all dormant.

I then just made the 8 remaining zodiac charts to see if any were ...

Re: SF Natal Transit CapSolar Quotidian?

To do a comparison - where it lists the contacts for you - then you just have to calculate two charts and use the synastry tool. Or you can use Dynamic > Transits & Progressions to run a custom report.

For a specific day, I just do it visually by popping up a three-wheeler (get my custom three ...

SF Natal Transit CapSolar Quotidian?

I've got a rudimentary grasp on Solar Fire thanks to Jim's pdfs and the help of various members on this forum.

Although, I'm still not sure how to calculate the Natal Transit to the particular day of the CapSolar Quotidian.
I have both charts calculated (Natal & CapSolar Q), but I'm not sure how to ...

Re: Solar Fire Aspect List help

For the most part (I s'pose 90%) there isn't a difference worth mentioning. What matters is the two planets involved.

There is a distinction between the dynamic series (45° multiples) and the static series (primarily trine and sextile), but not an acute difference. I have a few notes here and ...

Yes, natal - for Class 1.

This is a comprehensive discussion of how we look at orbs (in principle, an often in fine point).

My term "Class 1" is the same as Garth Allen's wordier "aspects of the first order."

Re: Solar Fire Aspect List help

For Class 1, set semi-square and sesqui-square to 1°, trine & sextile to 3°.

Though this is aimed primarily at mundane astrology, here is a partially written booklet on setting up Solar Fire for convenience of use.

Re: Solar Fire Aspect List help

Under Chart Options > Aspect Set > Planetary I selected
Conjunction and Opposition Natal row for orbs 4°00' in all four boxes. Also 1°00' in the eight boxes that form the second and third row.
Same thing for Square but with Natal row for orbs 3°00'.

I guess I need to add SemiSquare and Sextile ...

Solar Fire Aspect List help

I just finished installing Solar Fire and I followed Jim's instructions in Chapter 3 SETTING UP SOLAR FIRE.

In a previous thread Jim commented on my natal chart http://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1903 and he listed:
MOON SEMISQUARE SATURN Orb 0°20' Separating
MOON SEXTILE VENUS Orb 1°36 ...

Re: Astro Gold for Mac?

I want to chart Cryptocurrencies; hence no particular location. Too weird for me.
Without a location I would just skip the Mundo of what planets are angular right?

My charts won't have a specified location, so I guess I'll just ignore the angles in my analysis?

With that taken into consideration is it worth it to buy Windows and Parallels just to run Solar Fire; or is Astro Gold sufficient?

I've done exercises of starting with a blank wheel and adding Pluto, then moving inward through the planets to narrow on the day, as a meditation in how the universe, through the medium of time, brought about "exuding" us into the world at a particular moment in time and space.

That's a great ...
