Cleveland's home team will be trying today for its 21st consecutive win - which would be a new American League record. Will they make it?
Cleveland (like much of the eastern part of the country) has a great Capsolar this year Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto angular and connected). By transit, Pluto is within 2° of square MC and quite tight to WP. The CapQ has Mars on Dsc which, by itself, is not particularly a good sign. (Mostly neutral: It obviously has athletic implication, But statistically it hasn't favored significant victories by itself.)
If we include the Cansolar, we have Sun transiting Cleveland's IC yesterday and today, which is mildly favorable.
Nothing here really screams that anything big and celebratory is happening in Cleveland today, though. Pluto and Uranus don't help the "winning streak" team.
Detroit is a little too close for comparison, though are some small changes. For example, Pluto is more the lead in the Capsolar, originally and by transit. Mars is also on CapQ Dsc, but barely. Sun has left orb of conjoining Cansolar IC.
I think the decisive factor will be that transiting Sun, which exactly transits Cleveland's Cansolar IC, is partile square transiting Saturn. That makes it a malefic for this purpose. I think we can interpret it like an angular Saturn. Of the factors that historically have marked major sports match outcomes, this is the only one that gives a clear message, and the message is lose.
Cleveland does have a fabulous Arilunar to match its Caplunar - Jupiter conjunct IC partile. But so does Detroit. And, more importantly, lunar ingresses have not been helpful at least in big games like the Super Bowl or major rivalry games, so I think we should dismiss it altogether.
So... to test my understanding of the system... I'm going to call it against Cleveland even though the Tigers are not a great team this year. That's also consistent with all the Uranus and Pluto.

A Detroit win would be a nice confirmation of (1) all the Uranus and Pluto in play (and the odds aren't that different) and (2) that partile Sun-Saturn square being Sun-anchored to Cleveland's Cansolar IC today.

Yes, an excellent test for your observation of partile t Sun-t Saturn involving Cleveland's Cansolar IC.
