That's somewhere between terrifying and disgusting.
Of course, going with the rule that one doesn't try to determine a winner until you know who's running, there is still the great hope of removing him from consideration long before that.

Re: 2020 Prez Election
BTW, news is just out that Mueller has asked the judge to hold George Papadopoulos' sentencing on September 7. That's a very strange datum - not sure why so exacting a request. However, I note its proximity to the early September time when Mueller previously said he expected to be concluding his inquiry into whether Trump illegally colluded with Russia.
Papadopoulos' sentencing is obviously connected to the larger collusion picture, even though the specific charges against him are of lying to the FBI (obstruction of justice). But he got in hot water initially because of bragging in a bar about what he was pulling off with the Russians. The bigger question is whether this is something more complex, e.g., Papadopoulos will give testimony on the record that implicates others.
September 7 (or, more exactly, 9/6) is the Saturn station at 7°33' Sagittarius. There's an exact Sun-Neptune opposition that day at 20° Leo-Aquarius. Mars will have turned direct a week or two earlier at 4° Capricorn and is still at about the same degree. These probably are the degrees that will be important in the charts of anyone else strongly impacted that day. (The Sun-Neptune is about 1° from 45/135 to the Mars.)
Trump has none of these degrees active in his natal chart. I'm most disturbed that Jupiter is approaching his IC and will cross it in mid-October - way too close to the elections for my comfort.
Ah, but his SSR has a 4° Capricorn Eastpoint, which is exactly where the Mars station will occur. (Ecliptically, Mars is in the exact minute of that SSR EP at noon on 9/7 - I haven't checked it in RA yet.) And, while the above degrees don't hit his natal, transiting Pluto is back to square Trump's Jupiter within 15'.
Trump's August 20 SLR has Neptune on Dsc - which has too much fog around it to see clearly what is going to happen from that. (His Uranus is exactly at MC: It will be one of the strong expressions of his emerging Neptune transit to natal Uranus.) His September 3 Demi-SLR is more ordinary, the main angular planet being Mercury (though it is near-partile conjunct his Mars on Dsc - but that just describes behavior we see all the time).
September 7 will be interesting to watch.

Yes. But I still don't think Bernie has a chance. (That's not an astrological opinion - I haven't even bothered to look.)I know this: if Trump’s so called great economy starts to waver—Bernie will gain votes.
Biden is nearly as close as Bernie in these odds (Harris ties him), and I thnk Biden is a more likeky win... but it's way too early. This November will be a big tell, and of course all intervening time this year and next to see whether Trump survives his term.

No reliable birth time for Bernie--so we want be able to do a good Sidereal Astrology analysis even for his election probabilities in Dem race.
Re: 2020 Prez Election
New odds came out this morning:
Trump still holding at +140
Bernie Sanders +750 (becoming more of a favorite) moved from +1000
Joe Biden +1500 (from +1400 to +1500)
Kamala Harris +2000 (last month +1400)
Oprah Winfrey +6000 (made the biggest move I think, but can't find last months number for her).
Hillary +15000 (last month +6600).
Trump still holding at +140

Kamala Harris +2000 (last month +1400)
Oprah Winfrey +6000 (made the biggest move I think, but can't find last months number for her).
Hillary +15000 (last month +6600).
Re: 2020 Prez Election
Observation: Hillary odds for winning the 2020 Prez has dropped from +15,000 to +3,300. This is the single largest movement in betting odds I have ever seen in my life. The last time I observed a large shift in betting odds similar to this was July 2015 when Trump to win Prez dropped from +4500 to +1500. Hillary is denying she will run for 2020 Prez, but if I had to guess she is keening awaiting results of Midterms to help make final decision.
Re: 2020 Prez Election
Below is link for more political betting odds for various possibilities and the 2020 Prez election for possible candidates. Just continue to click this link anytime for updated odds for the 2020 election. Odds now (+3000) indicating Hillary will not toss her hat into the 2020 Dem candidate ring. I think the young Dem voters (millennials) are ready for a younger candidate to represent the Party in 2020? But, many of these younger millennials voted for Bernie Sanders in 2016 to represent them in the 2016 Dem primary.
I was very surprised to see Dem Beto O’ Rourke do so well running against Ted Cruz (50-48) for the Senate seat in Texas. And I now note Beto is now among the favorite Dem Candidates +500 to win the 2020 Dem primary.
Note: The Dem Party is the odds on favorite to win Prez in 2020 at -125 to Reps -105.
If anyone happens to come across an AA rated time for Beto, please post.
I have a cousin who lives in Texas who called me yesterday and said O' Rourke would be the next Prez. I made a bet of 50$ to win 250$ on Beto O' Rourke to win 2020 Dem Primary at + 500 & a 50$ bet on Beto to win 500$ for 2020 Prez +1000. Hell, if Trump can win Prez, I most certainly can see Beto winning Prez!

I think Trump is really feeling the partile Moon-Mars cnj. He's been having a fit since Tuesday, shouting at black female reporters and Jim Acosta. He doesn't seem to know a couple of counties in Florida always take weeks to count their votes, in part thanks to Marco Rubio who's pushing to keep Florida ballots from being counted at all, and absentee and mailed in ballots are not usually counted on election day.SteveS wrote: Fri Nov 09, 2018 5:41 am I think with what is developing in a couple contested Senate races may be a blatant reflection of DC’s Libsolar with that partile Moon-Mars cnj. Voting bases on both sides of the political factions are screaming for change--a-lot of it ---radical change. I see a tremendous amount of volatility symbolized for the 2020 Libsolar before 2020 election. I am expecting radical changes, noting will surprise me in the 2020 election. There are 33 Senate seats up for grabs every two years. There are 100 senators and they serve a 6 year term. The elections are staggered so 1/3 of them are up every other year. The last time the Class 1 Senators was up for election in 2012, mostly Democrats were elected, so this year, it was mostly Democrats who were up for re-election. There just weren't that many Republicans with seats at risk.SteveS wrote: Fri Nov 09, 2018 11:14 am But I think there are 33 Senate seats up for grabs in 2020. Is this correct?
In 2020, there will be more Republicans up for re-election, and a bigger chance of picking up some seats for Democrats. But, I am not sure the Republicans will lose the Senate till 2022 or even 2024.

Slim to none.
She says she'd like to be president, but she doesn't want to run. She'd be the oldest person ever elected if she ran and won, but there are too many low information voters out there who wouldn't vote for her because of the trash both the Republicans and the Sanders camp put out about her.
The next person to be elected will either be Trump or someone not on the current odds list. Declaring now just means Trump will put a target on your back. It's too soon to tell who will run in 2020 other than Trump.

Beto O'Rourke was born September 26, 1972, hour unknown, in El Paso, TX. His Virgo Sun conjoins Pluto and squares Jupiter.
At noon on his birth date, Moon was 28°47' Aries. If he was born after 1:59 PM, his Moon is in Taurus. From the patterns we have historically seen of how presidents' Sun and Moon signs "hand off," this would put him in the running to succeed Donald Trump. (Odds are extremely high that only someone with a Taurus or Scorpio luminary can succeed Trump.)

Very, very interesting Jim, only seen and known with your excellent astrological work with historical presidents. If Beto does throw his hat in the ring, I am hoping a reliable timed birth appears, but your above observation here already increases % for a winning candidate. My cousin in Texas says he is a winning candidate because of his appeal to women voters.

Pence (June 7, 1959, Columbus, OH) has a Taurus Sun, probably Gemini Moon. Pelosi (March 26, 1940 in Baltimore) has a Pisces Sun, probably Libra Moon. If she was born pretty late in the day, she'd have a Scorpio moon, so could succeed Trump.
Wonder if a succession by impeachment would be like an induced birth, disrupting the astrological influences.

New Vegas odds posted today on 2020 Prez.
Dem to win Prez -120
Rep to win Prez Even
Trump + 150
Beto O’Rourke + 800
Joe Biden + 800
Kamala Harris + 1000
Bernie Sanders + 1200
Elizabeth + 2000
My opinions/observations: I think the odds for Beto & Biden were based on the straw polls by MoveOn showing Beto narrowly leading Biden. If Biden decides not to run, I think most of the Biden voters would vote for Beto. Note the Dems are favored to win 2020 Prez, but Vegas odds still has Trump as the clear favorite. Go figure??

The last point: A known polling factor is that people answer one way for general conceptual questions, and other ways for concrete. So, "who will win in 2016, Democrat or Republican" brought overwhelming Democrat. "Who will win 2016, Clinton or Trump" brought closer to even.
With regard to those numbers, I was proposing recently (to early, just a test idea) a ticket of Biden for President, O'Rourke for VP.

Julian Castro has formed an exploratory committee to look into his running for president. I think that's like a pre-engagement. He was the head of HUD under Obama, is a Texan (and a twin) and has enough experience to actually do the job. I don't think O'Rourke does and would spend the first year correcting hireing mistakes.

Yes, I think you're right about what the extreme left wants. However, I think the odds of such a person beating Trump are quite small. Id like to "hedge the bet" - pick a solid, proven leader with deep experience AND a "fresh face" for the team with him or her.

They haven't yet picked the city where the Democratic convention to nominate the candidate for 2020 will be held. It'll be one of Houston, TX, Miami Beach, FL, Milwaukee, WI, and Denver, CO, although it will be held July 13 - 16, 2020.
You could get a jump by running charts for each candidate you fancy in each city for that time frame.
The first primary will be Feb 3, 2020 (Iowa). Most state committees haven't chosen dates for their primaries yet.

The only reason anyone would announce now is that person is way too easily swayed by the glamour and adulation, or is trying to draw fire so others have the chance to get organized and maybe get some secret service protection. I'd love to see Hilary declare with tongue in cheek. She could shield the rest of them and Nancy Pelosi.

There have been some slight changes for betting odds on 2020 Prez.
The Dems have increased there winning odds from a -120 to a -140
The Reps have become more of an underdog from a even odds bet to a +120
Trump is still a +150 to win 2020 Prez. No odd changes in the top 5 Dems winning Prez.

Julian Castro
We have our first official Democratic presidential contestant with a known birth time.
Julian Castro, former Obama cabinet member, officially announced his campaign today. He and his twin brother Joaquin were born September 16, 1974, in San Antonio, TX. According to Julian in a 7/16/16 NPR radio broadcast, he was born at 2:40 AM and Joaquin a minute later. (I believe this verbal report because twins and their family reports are extremely accurate about this sort of thing.)
A Leo Sun and Virgo Moon and Mars with Mercury-Pluto exactly on IC and Saturn more widely foreground. I'm concerned that his foreground Mercury-Saturn square will mean that people will find a way to "bad mouth" him as they did Hillary, and he doesn't have the luminary mix to easily succeed Trump. (He has a Virgo stellium, in fact: Moon, Mercury, Mars, Pluto.)
And his name is "Castro." (Ofcourse, Obama's middle name is "Houssein.")

(He has a Virgo stellium, in fact: Moon, Mercury, Mars, Pluto.)
And his name is "Castro." (Ofcourse, Obama's middle name is "Houssein.")

Re: 2020 Prez Election
Just noticed Trump on election night 2020 has Solar Arc Saturn 10,48 Vir, Natal Neptune 11,51 Vir. This is an important piece of gambling info for me as well as important political news for many members on this forum. Saturn-Neptune is the supreme combo for important "removals" of all kinds for high profile public figures.

Re: 2020 Prez Election
As Elizabeth Warren said yesterday (and many of us hope is true), Trump may not be a free man by the next election.
On any case, his Solar Arcs for the end of November 3, 2020 are as follows. Note that it's not entirely bad news at the time (much worse 11 months later):
d Mars qq. r Sun 01' ap.
d Moon sqq. r Jupiter 05' ap.
d Saturn conj. r Neptune 51' ap.
d Neptune op. r Uranus 53' ap.
d Uranus conj. r Asc 55' ap.

Re: 2020 Prez Election
I don't know that much about Solar Arc Directions but am hoping to learn more now that we are starting to pay more attention. I had just bought Ebertin's book on Directions before I first discovered Sidereal Astrology and was the days before Matthew taught me how to function SF with Sidereal Astrology. Anyway learning Sidereal Astrology took my time away from studying Solar Arc Directions, but I do remember Hand strongly recommending Solar Arc Directions for predictive purposes and humanistic purposes.
If Trump happens to win 2020 election (I have serious doubts he wins 2020 if he makes it to 2020) 2021 sets-up very badly for him.

Re: 2020 Prez Election
My best barometer for political opinion consensus news is my weekly poker game with guys I have been playing poker for years, and I never mention the word astrology to them because I knew a long time ago what would happen if I did try to bring astrology into the conversation with mostly old(er) Conservative thinking minds. I am seeing a very interesting contrast with what the poker guys are now saying about the 2020 Prez Election compared with the 2016 Elections. Through many, many, years of playing poker with the same guys —the majority consensus thinking in this poker games turns out to be dead wrong about elections. I see the same thing when I watch ESPN sporting news-- majority consensus sporting news on picking winners is usually dead wrong, proving to me the public news doesn’t know who will win, but given AA rated birth times—Astrology usually does know winners and losers.
The majority of poker guys are now saying no way Trump loses the 2020 Election if not assassinated. I ask why they say this and they all agree its because of Trump’s favorable public opinion polls with Vegas strong betting odds and weak candidates for the Dem side.
But, I remember in 2015-16 when Trump threw his hat into the Prez Political Ring, these same guys were laughing at Trump calling him a clown and saying no way he would be Rep Candidate for Prez and definitely not for Prez. The majority consensus in this poker game was also saying: no way Hillary was not going to be the next Prez. I don’t remind then what they were saying in 2015-16 turned out to be dead wrong, because I know it serves no purpose to remind someone how wrong they were with their certainty years ago, I just listen and observe—and play poker realizing I have been dead wrong with some of my conclusive astrological predictions. But as a passionate ‘event’ astrologer with national Prez elections being the biggest event, here is the most interesting contrast I see:
In the summer of 2015 when I got Trump’s AA Birth Time, I saw rock solid winning astrological symbolism with his stack of charts vs Hillary’s stack of charts for losing. Now I see rock solid astrological symbolism not favoring Trump will be Prez for 2020. Also I remember in this upside-down political world, things are now exactly reversed for 2020 vs 2016. In 2016, it was the Reps with many candidates for Prez and mainly only one Dem candidate—Hillary. Now we are going to see many Dem candidates running for Dem representative for Prez, with most likely one Rep candidate—Trump.
As a passionate predictive astrologer for contests, this leaves me with the glaring questions: 1: Who will the Dem’s elect as their Prez candidate. 2: Will the Dem Candidate be a Progressive or Moderate. 3: And most important will we see an AA rated Birth Time for the Dem Prez Candidate. 4: What will be Vegas betting odds for this election?
Now, Trump is a heavy Vegas favorite to be 2020 Prez, just as Hillary was a heavy Vegas betting favorite to be 2016 Prez. Hillary by Vegas betting odds is now creeping back into the 2020 election contest at + 2000 falling from +4000. It would be most interesting if Hillary again became Dem represented running against Trump in 2020.
Indeed, strange and interesting contrasts with 2016 Elections vs 2020 Elections.

IF, the 2020 election produces a majority Dem House and 2/3 majority Senate, and a Trump Prez, there is nothing stopping an impeachment conviction---correct?

Legally correct. There could be political barriers, but not legal ones, presuming no substantial evidence exonerates him.SteveS wrote: Sun Feb 17, 2019 2:31 pm IF, the 2020 election produces a majority Dem House and 2/3 majority Senate, and a Trump Prez, there is nothing stopping an impeachment conviction---correct?
That combination seems politically unfeasible, though. That would be a gigantic increase for Dems in the Senate, which is quite possible - but grossly unlikely if Trump is elected President. For a shift that large, you would need a major "blue wave" across most of the nation, and that wave wouldn't likely allow a Trump win.
