Re: Sun in Gemini - sign project
A great Gemini psychic (Tina), who I had the pleasure of working with on a powerful/fortunate business level for a few years in my life. (Unfortunately, no longer in contact with her.)
https://ibb.co/dEVeL5
I came into contact with Tina under a SSR (1988) which featured a Moon-Neptune cnj in SSR 7th house, and SSR Moon partile 90 my Natal Neptune. Also, SSR Uranus partile 90 my Sun. Ebertin says about the ‘Sociological Correspondence’ for Moon-Neptune:
PS: Interesting--I wrote this post with a partile cnj of Moon-Neptune in the heavens.

All of my close female contacts in my life were Gemini’s or have potent Mercury contacts in their chart. In Tina’s case, a strong represented of Mercury serving me and her as a true “Messenger of the Gods.” Her Natal Gemini Mercury partile cnj my Natal Vertex. In my life, my natal Gemini Vertex, representing a-lot of ‘fated’ contacts with Mercury/Gemini people/things.Sensitive persons, Mediums, people connected with psychical phenomena and investigations, women who tell fortunes by cards (Tina was a Tarot reader) or women -cartomancers.
PS: Interesting--I wrote this post with a partile cnj of Moon-Neptune in the heavens.
Re: Sun in Gemini - sign project
I have got 2 people I suppose. One is a best friend of mine and another is my teacher. They are both very different people, not at all similar if you were to judge their behaviors.
My best friend is not very academically motivated. Though I always used to remark at the fact that he would make an excellent businessman or salesman. I often seem to wonder how we even became besties in the first place. Though looking back we have been inseparable for like a decade or so. I suppose he doesnt like being alone or he needs someone to accompany him to all his misadventures. Interested in all things fast and quite athletically gifted. Boxer's physique. Excellent reflexes. Likes cars and i have seen the way he drives. Had ideas popping into his head and then he would share it with me and work out the facts to support it later. Intuitive I suppose.
Now contrast this with my teacher. He is a maths teacher and teaches biology but equally competent at physics and chemistry. Very academically gifted. I also got the sense he is extremely competitive. We would often have discussion on topics related to religion or the mind. Not a person who adheres to any sort of strict religious code. Has a penchant for investigating mysteries. Very honest but in a very humble sort of way. Strong convictions. Tells me he doesnt like to visit the staff room and mingle with thr rest of teachers. There are better things to do. Parts of his behavior seemed to me almost plutonian. Though very famous with his students and perhaps very close to them.

Re: Sun in Gemini - sign project
I like to talk about sun signs moving into the next position, and recently Sun in Taurus became Sun in Gemini (obviously) and I sooo noticed. I notice people are more passionately intense (crazy,illogical/overly emotional) in their beliefs. People are more anxious and unstable. Makes sense in that prior to Gemini is Taurus, a hub, Venus and Moon, Gemini being a spoke.
My observation goes along with Jim's Gemini "reasons, not reason". Some real life examples that just occurred with me include unreasonable, unnecessary, emotional and quick, sharp painful arguments with co-workers, loved ones and acquaintances. Gemini Sun may bring to awareness some sort of social morality and heavy judgment or criticism or crisis. More impatience. More urgency. Gemini Sun brings to light issues that once were tolerated, accepted and forgiven prior, in Taurus, that are now suddenly issues of importance, of critical urgency, at least in perspective.
Gemini may have a sense of 'where do I fit in? Where do I belong'? Unstable grounding, or foundation. Allot of mental noise. Difficult to shut off mental thoughts that seem quite loud. In fact listening to Gemini Sun musicians such as Beck, Jack White and Issac Brock(Modest Mouse) are themes of isolation, thoughts being too loud, issues of belonging, issues of falling short, insecurity, instability, sea changes, wanting to change, isolation and verbal aggression, spitefulness, bitterness, passionate and critical.

Danica, do you have anything else to add on this? I'm trying to narrow exactly what you mean by "communicate".Danica wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2017 5:40 pm What I see as common for all:
- It's easy to communicate with them! (They can talk a lot, but are also good listeners.)...
The Gemini's I know are easy to have a chat with, but I don't think of that as "communication" - more of a social emollient (where the goal is more to connect than to informationally engage). Is that maybe what you mean?
As for good listeners, I get a real mixed bag. I can confirm it specifically for some of them, some of the time, which (on reflection) seems more to me like curiosity. But there are other ways in which they are quite poor listeners, very locked in their own conclusions for example, or prone to withdraw and not participate (the alienation thread that sometimes becomes social isolation). I guess that's never why I started with the obvious Mercury keyword "communication," because, as a group, they don't strike me as engaging seriously in idea exchange.
So, it occurred to me... maybe we're using the word differently, or with different meaning? So, I thought, I'd ask

Hakim, these were great examples. Quite different expressions based on life conditions etc.hakim wrote: Sat Jun 17, 2017 3:45 am I have got 2 people I suppose. Do you have their birth data? I'm trying to generally keep this "collective," and not get into fine breakdowns of other chart details, but your two examples took such sharply different paths that it would be cool at least to have the Moon signs.

Some Gemini writers
ABIGAIL VAN BUREN & ANN LANDERS. These are as classic a Gemini pair as you could ever want. Twins themselves, both newspaper columnists with a keen mind and gift for gab, styled as casual conversation with a frank, witty friend. They defined the "advice column" genre for decades.
BARBARA CARTLAND. Best-selling author of 723 romance novels (another glib genre) - the world's top-selling author. A solid example IMHO of "give the rubes what the want." She also wrote plays, music, poetry, articles, and more (versatile), and was enormously successful commercially. She began as a newspaper gossip columnist, and seemed "a self-appointed expert." - As a flight-themed aside to her writing, she is credited with inventing and furthering one important form of air-towing in a glider.
CHARLES LE GOFFIC. Novelist, poet, historian. I don't find much ab out him other than accounts of his political conservatism and an atypical (for Geminis) fondness for the monarchy. (Sun square Jupiter?)
DOROTHEA MACKELLAR. Poet, fiction writer. "Quintessential [Australian] bush poetry." Some typical Gemini titles for her novels are Two's Company and Outlaw's Luck.
EVELYN IRONS. Journalist, perhaps most distinguished as the first female war correspondent decorated with a Croix de Guerre. (BTW, bravery seems typical of all of these, whether moral or physical courage.) Lesbian, but it is little reflected in her writings.
I'm already noticing trends that are starkly different from the Aquarius writers I examined. These writers have usually little real information about them. Their work, so far, is not targeted at deep topics or pushing social controversy and, for the most part, seems superficial, popular, quite successful with the broad masses. The contrast is striking. Yet they also show the moral bravery, it seems.
JANE GARDAM. Prolific children & adult fiction author and reviewer.
PIERRE ALEXIS PONSON DU TERRAIL. Prolific 19th Century French novelist, initially wrote Gothic novels. Created the mystery fiction character Rocambole, in effect creating modern heroic fiction with rapid plot twists and turns.
MARCEL PROUST. French novelist and essayist of enormous stature, one of the great literary figures of the 20th century, known especially for his 7-volume In Search of Lost Time. His somewhat covert homosexuality is often considered a significant theme of his writings.
HERMANN HESSE. Great Germany novelist and poet, known for such works as Siddhartha, Steppenwolff, and The Glass Bead Game, all portraying spiritual quests or journeys of self-discovery.
HELEN KELLER. Prolific author, well-travelled lecturer, and political activist, blind and deaf - the first blind and deaf person to win a B.A. degree. Hers is an epochal story of learning to communicate with language despite having neither sight nor hearing, and going on to have a significant impact on the world.

Re: Sun in Gemini - sign project
The Geminis I know best are a close friend in high school, and a close friend now, one born on July 3rd, and the other on July 4th. I usually seem to have a Gemini around here somewhere, nearly always born in early July. These are the people who become friends quickly, and who I trust with my animals (and who trust me with theirs.)
The Gemini from high school has never quite lived in the real world. She knows it's there. She just doesn't live in it. While in high school, she would meet me at the door of my class, take my books, escort me to my next class, and then head off to her class. I called her Hassim at first after a character in a book, but later I just called her Lady. I guess I was on to something because after college she got into medieval re-enacting and still does it, now with her children and grandchildren, and current husband. She's very much into to crafts and sells embroidery at renaissance fairs all around Canada.
She plays a number of instruments. Her father was the director of music for our school district, her mother taught piano, and she plays any kind of bowed stringed instrument or keyboard. She had a brief fling with woodwinds in her early teens. She also sings well and prefers to sing in choirs. She gave all her kids music lessons herself.
She's always been very interested in people, but not in the psychology, or how minds work, or don't work. Her interests lie in the dynamics of groups, families and tribes, how people fit together. She took her degree in anthropology. Her family confused education with intellect, and she does too. She taught her children to call caterpillars “larvae” which was hilarious in preschoolers, although her husband's family thought it was pretentious.
My current Gemini didn't go to college. She admires skill more than education. She became an electrologist. She organized other electrologists in the area to make it a licensed profession, and organizes the yearly continuing education seminars. She does a lot of work with trans people and she treats them with the same friendly openness and curiosity as she does everybody else, and is surprised other people treat them as too far outside the norm.
She goes out a lot, although she likes being home too. It's more about being around people and being connected to them. She'd be happy staying home as long as people, especially her children, came over a lot. But she's always up for going out with a group, and she vastly prefers going somewhere new. If she's choosing a restaurant, she'll always choose one she's never been to, and if you want to check out a new grocery store, she thinks that's fun.
She loves to go to clubs where there's a small band or a singer, likes karaoke, enjoys singing herself. She made sure her kids had music lessons and provided practice space for the band her son was in. One of her criteria for a long-term relationship is he has a good voice and likes to sing.
She's kind of an information clearing house. If you need a doctor, dentist, handyman, roofer, anything of the sort, she knows a couple and can supply reviews from several other people. She spends all day and half the night texting. She doesn't mind being alone if she's doing something like painting her house, but she needs interaction with other people, and distraction from boredom.
I don't see Geminis as “scientific” so much as technically minded. More mechanics than idea people. They're creative in the sense of making physical things, whether building mechanical things like motorcycles, or woodworking or needlework. They fix things themselves, build things, they're makers.
I see Geminis as good conversationalists. They're very good at small talk, good listeners, very curious about other people and how they relate to the people around them. They're also good talkers, and it's easy to get to know them. They don't seem interested in abstract ideas but prefer concrete examples. That tends to make them good at managing people because if somebody makes a mistake, they can give examples, and help with generalizing.
They pick up ideas very quickly and grasp what other people are saying sooner than most so conversation with them moves fast. They see deep ideas and thoughts, but they'd rather move on to new ideas and thoughts. If you're trying to impart your wisdom, they got it, it's boring now, lets move on. They don't want to discuss the basis for your conclusion, how you got there, all the side roads you considered and discarded, and they won't “receive wisdom” but make up their own minds, and don't sit still for attempts to convince them. For this alone, they tend to frustrate Sagittarians to no end.
They aren't really interested in changing people's minds, and arguing, whether policy or politics, they listen, but don't argue back. They tend to take people's side when they're expressing themselves, but that's to draw the other person out, not because they agree with what's being said, so people who don't know them well often think they hold views that are diametrically opposed to their actual views.
Unless they've been drinking, most Geminis I know seem to have a strong sex drive, and they have a drive to be part of a couple that can keep them with a partner past his expiration date if there's not another relationship on the horizon. They also aren't as picky as I think they should be either. They often have a series of bad relationships before they find one worth hanging onto, but they usually know this is not someone they want to be with long term. Leaving a relationship is like jumping into the abyss to them, and they only do it when they have a net.
They love to travel, and love to visit family. They both live away from their parents, but visit them often. Both the Geminis above lost their fathers and made it a point to spend time with their mothers, although they have siblings who lin the same town as their mothers. They take a lot of vacations, but mostly long weekends, quick visits. They don't like to settle down at a resort and bake in the sun but like tours where they stay here for a couple days, then go somewhere else for a couple days. A good vacation is visiting Mom for a couple days, visiting an aunt a state away for a couple days, traveling to a theme park for a couple days, then back to see Mom before going home.
These are busy people. They're always doing something, and pressed for time, but if you call up and want to catch up, they'll make time, and if you need a ride home from an invasive medical procedure because the nurses won't let you go home by yourself even if you're taking an Uber, they'll rearrange their lives and come get you.If you ask them for help, they're really pleased to be able to do something for their friends and even more pleased to be thought of and trusted. These are the people who will come help you paint your house inside and out if you're selling it. If your partner wanders off or your dog dies, they'll come over and make you soup.
If you lose touch with a Gemini, and then get in touch again, even years later, its as if nothing changed. I don't know if that's because they're so easy to get to know, they're easy to get to know again. I've never had an argument with a Gemini, it's just we lost touch with each other. They do try to keep in touch, but more than one or two Geminis at a time can be overwhelming. And they get hurt feelings if you ask somebody else to take care of your cats. They really want relationships to be reciprocal.

Re: Sun in Gemini - sign project
I should be able to get their birthdays. As for the time, it is unknown. This past month was exceptionally trying and it still is. I will keep a reminder to my self and add their birthdays and time if I do get it.
Btw, my bestfriend's birthday is posted on synastry section. Did not get the time to get additional details.
P.S It is nice to be back

Two Gemini Sun men I know are Very Christian. One doesn’t like to be labeled ‘religious’ and says it just a fact Christianity is true and God and so forth. Neither of them will accept any discussion opposing Christianity and become mad, emotional, judgmental, egotistical when questioned and then they say it’s a logical fact that they know for real.
When I read the forum data that Gemini is anti religious I question it? Any thoughts? There is one thing I can say to support the anti religious idea....
I see anti-royal thing
I agree with JUPE in “technically minded”, very busy, good teachers (unless they have a stubborn belief) visit family, don’t stay anywhere too long and on to the next thing. Value receipication in intimiate relationships and feel ripped off and that’s its morally wrong to act certain ways. They will stay in touch even after years.
Neither are scientifically minded in that as Jim put-they work backwards to support claims and science is more trial and error and deducting logic by eliminating old ideas that no longer are true. They fit anything to support their claims unless it’s obviously wrong- Intellectual stubborn
Both I know are frugal (one is anal, cheap, doesn’t value quality much) both good with practical home remodeling DYI.

A thorough answer probably requires their full horoscopes, but there is a clue in what you've already written.James Condor wrote: Sun Mar 03, 2019 5:44 am Two Gemini Sun men I know are Very Christian. You say that one of them at least treats the subject as "just the facts, just what's true." That may be a clue to his real motives, i.e., what moves him to this position. It's a pretty Geminian perspetive.
There is also a cultural factor: May we assume both of these people live near you in the Midwest? In my experience, this is a typical point of view of a majority of people in the region. As, I think, part of the anti-hierarchical thing, Gemini has a cluster of traits that boil down to deeply identifying with being "an ordinary person, a real American, who lives by common sense and not a lot of fancy ideas." By chance do you hear phrases like this out of the these two men? It's as if "ordinary" is a virtue, with a kind of adamant pride in their normalness. "God-fearing" is part of the "normal person" package.
At least, that's the type I know and the only explanation I'd have. From astrology's perspective, we'd say that seed traits are planted in people in a particular cultural setting and develop there.
In any case, that's the best explanation I have without seeing their full charts.

I don’t know either of their time of birth. Both live in Midwest. Both of their fathers are religious-Christian. Bible readers. One of them asked me —‘are you afraid of where you will go after death?’ Or ‘do you know where you are going after death? Me-No ‘Does that scare you?’ Me-no. One has Moon in Aries the other in Libra. One is divorced the other newly married. One drinks the other doesn’t. Both have strong believes and opinions.
Neither speak of trying to relate to ordinary or common people.
