Hurricane Patricia is the second most intense tropical cyclone recorded in the history of the world, and the most intense in the western hemisphere. (Intensity is measured by its minimum atmospheric pressure, not wind speed etc.) Noteworthy is that when Patricia began accelerating intensity, she grew from a tropical storm to a Category 5 hurricane in under 24 hours, which is unusually fast. At peak, sustained wind speeds reached 215 mph.
It weakened considerably before making landfall at Cuixmala, Jalisco as a Category 4 storm, though winds were still 150 mph. Only 13 deaths occurred, and $462.8 million in damages (there is much more information on damage caused as the storm formed and dissipated, across very wide areas).
Year: Capsolar (Dormant.) Moon-Jupiter.
Year: Cansolar {+1}
(Giving it a point partly for the rain, mostly for the good fortune almost nobody was there)

(Probably suitable for precipitation + low casualties, but I'm not going to rate a daily factor high for two benefics regardless. Possibly, though, this is exactly what one should expect for hurricane intensity???)
